Don't worry Ewuch,it is a little mistake but it doesn't make too much difference because the amount is still high for an average Bulgarian citizen .I agree that there is no prize in the whole world that may return Petar to his family but still 100 000 ... and i hope Max will be able to find those money to pay .Also in the last article that Petra posted they mentioned that if Maxim plead guilty the court may settle for faster trial where only him and witnesses will be questioned and he may receive lighter sentence . I don't know how reliable is this information and if the prosecutor will accept this.

How could anyone confuse them with Albena and Maxim?!

Also that article says that Maxim became a world champion
in 2005 I wish that was true ... It doesn't say if Albena
won a world title in that year as well

Concerning a Bulgarian paper (Standart again, from 21.11.07), the bill of indictment brought to court against Max consists of an accusative act from 20 pages, and the whole documents with the evidences and the expertises have 341 pages.
If real, that´s a lot of paper, I think...

I don´t understand much, but what I understand makes me completely sad !

Yea it's soo unfair that they do this hurts me every time i see something like that and i am tired of long argues with people who i know will not change their minds. Q- Tell me about one of your days now?

A-I get up at 9 am every morning.Right now my kneecap is injured and is one of the reason for me to be immobilized and to follow special diet.In contrary to my life before the accident ,now i have less daily activities .I'm going out very rarely and it is difficult for me to relax,to forget ,to be myself from before...nothing is as it was.I could feel people watching me-i haven't been approached or heard bad comments directly,i don't feel the hate but i always wonder what other people think of me.

Q-Do you think you will be forgiven one day?

A- It depends Whom i am asking for forgiveness.I cannot and i don't expect forgiveness from victims families and relatives .

Q-Have you imagine just for a moment that you may go to jail?

A-As normal average person i don't want to think about it.Many celebrities in Bulgaria think they can get untouched and unpunished for their behavior on the road.

A-I personally do not feel untouched or unpunished and i believe that the responsibility has to be not double but infinitely bigger.

Q-Do you think that the media gives the real image of your case.

I keep thinking that Maxim was already in a crisis situation, and then comes the kneecap injury. Without even considering the other situation, I can't think of anything more depressing to a champion athlete than immobility and a diet. Along with everything else, it is clear that he is experiencing some intensive and major stressors that could induce depression in anyone.

Still, Maxim conveys in the interview what a mature, thoughtful and caring person he truly is. There are times in my daily life when I impatiently want to tell a young man (or woman), "Just step up to the plate, and be a man!" Well, that is what I think about Maxim Staviski throughout all of this: he has definitely stepped up to the plate and been a man--and a good man.

The one thing I would recommend that Maxim could do while immobile is to go to Aline's blog and look at all those still photos of the miraculous feats he and Albena performed over the past two years. The strength, the power, and the pain are mirrored all over their faces as they push themselves beyond physical limitations to be the two-times World Champions that they are.

I would also like Albena and Maxim to know that every tiny bit of the spark, the drive, the strength, and the power that made them two-times World Champions still resides within their combined heart, mind, body, and spirit. All these elements still remain within themselves to do with as they wish.

Maxim's knee will mend, and these sad days will pass. Judging from the life he has led and all that he and Albena have accomplished, I think he will commit to doing more good in the years ahead than he has done in the past. Albena and Maxim seem to be aware from their audiences' responses that they should continue to use their talent and abilities for the betterment of humankind. Art and athletic feats do tend to invigorate the human spirit, and this would be a worthy purpose. Considering all of Albena and Maxim's past deeds, I think they will handle the responsibility to humankind just like the two-times World Champions they are.
