Yes, I agree completely with everything that you wrote about the FDs, Ler & Marina. I just managed to watch the 3 top FDs, this morning... Albena and Maxim's FD was without question the best of the evening!!!! It was just perfection!!!! Simply & utterly beautiful!!!!! I cannot think of the words right now to describe how wonderful it was. I'm a bit too upset.

I am absolutely furious that Oksana & Maxim won the FD. I cannot agree with that. It.is.just.wrong. However, I quite enjoyed Isabelle & Olivier in the FD. They were so strong in all 3 parts of this competition!!! So, IMHO , Isabelle & Olivier deserve this title. If Albena & Maxim had done a perfect OD, I would be saying something different right now.

I hope I didn't offend anyone. And if I did, please excuse me.

It wasn't fear!!!!! they should have been second at least. Albena and Maxim had the best dance ever!!! it was one of the most beautiful powerful and emotional free dances I've ever seen Isa and Olivier's tango was better, but.....why third???

But Albena and Max were so nice in the interview, the first thing they said was congrats to the French. But what did Albena then said in Bulgarian and what Maxim in Russian (I just thought it was russian....)?

Yeee!!! Caro skated very well!!! I'm very sorry for Elene Gedevanishvili, she could have done better.... Elena deserved more then 8th place, I thought...

I am happy that Caroline won! I can't say anything because I haven't seen the competition!, but I hope this time it was all clear and above board!

About yesterday, I would like to say this! I don't want to offend anyone, but it's my opinion! I have been comparing the Frees
It's impossible to compare the lightness , the fluidity, the perfection of Albena and Maxims Free with the others , even with the now crowned Eurochampions, and they are my second favourites! They were slower, heavier and their movements weren't as difficult as Albena and Maxim"s
I think, that Albena and Maxim did a wondeful tango and the CD was verrry good!
Olivier and Isabel are the Champions and so , congratulations! , but the masters , the ones that really audiences want to watch, the ones that come first to any fan's head are ALBENA AND MAXIM!!!And this , nobody can change!

About Isa & Olivier, don't forget that at every competitions, jugdes gave them very bad marks because they didn't want them to win, even if they deserved medals. Everybody was very unfair with them.
OK, they weren't the best the previous seasons, it was obvious, but they deserved to be on some podiums, and they were on a podium only 2 years ago.
Maybe this year (erm... these championships only, because they were 4th at GPF ), something happens with judges who understand that they were terrible with them. Maybe Isa & Olivier had very high marks in Warsaw, but I'm happy about that, they deserve medals too, they had terrible moments.

I think that everybody here wanted them to medal, not only at the europeans but also at thr GPF and we were very disapointed it didn't happen. But why it was necessary to win the gold medal over Albena and Max who have the better programs this season-and they proved it twice over Del/S and Dom/S,yes they had 2 mistakes in the OD,but also does Olivier(the spin-a lot of movement from the center of rotation) and a slip at the end of the step sequence. And also he did slipped at the FD...
This is the last year of Albena and Maxim and they will never be an european champions:((( And Del/S will stay for 3 more years....

I love Isa & Olivier's FD!!! Especially the moment where Isabelle is shot it is gorgeous... and Olivier got some tiny changes in his costume that gold & silver thread was nice! Lanadd said that they still have 3 more years but it's not sure at all that they will be European champions again. This year, Russians were very very close, so... It will be very very very difficult for Isabelle & Olivier.

But I wish them good luck, this gold medal proves that they can do wonderful things, and it's good for them, now, they will have more trust in themselves.

Yes, they did wonderful job, and it's fab. It was very very hard, but they deserved their wonderful gold medals (even if they deserved more...). Bulgaria will be never forgotten now, and that is wonderful ! Thank you Albena & Maxim !!!

98.61... But, it's not very far from Isa & Olivier's marks... (50.57 & 50.40, it's close). I think the big difference was made after CD and OD. That's why Isabelle & Olivier won.

I think that AM should have been first on the CD(they skated it without mistake) or at least second with difference not more then 0.2 points, the OD both couples have had 2 mistakes,and even if we take that A&M have been more serious they should have higher PCS-their Tango is just the best of the season, and even if at second place with not more then 1 point difference And after the FD- at least 2 points advantage for AM
They still could have been second on the CD and the OD but with not soo big score difference....that is what makes me scream"mafia"-the 6 points difference after the OD, they didn't deserved hole 5 points it was humiliating-like they have had fallen twice in their tango

Do we need to discuss it if it was fair or no anymore....
And i personally knew it was arranged when i saw the 1.01 difference in the CD,when A&M didn't made mistakes...And i was totally sure after the 5 points in the OD

Well, everyone is allowed to have their own opinions on the fairness of the competition. In my personal opinion, the FD was completely unreasonable. But, I wouldn't agree that the placements in the OD were unfair. Anyways, all we can do now is hope that Worlds will go better for Albena and Maxim.

It is 100% that AM will never be european champions(and they deserved to be veryyyy much,they have been place second twice)
And it is not a 100% sure that Isa and Oli won't be at least one more time european champions, thats 3 years everything is possible

I am not saying that the placement in the OD was unfair-indeed probably it was the only part fair, i'm saying that the 5 points were unfair-especially when taken because of their spin.Their TES were lower then the TES of K/N and Capellini/Lanotte!!!And don't you think they deserved a higher PCS,how come for one month they lost their skating skills, or did they changed their Choreo or the transition????Nooo they didn't, so why such a big difference???Please don't tell me that the difference in the points was fair, not in this forum This 5 points took them away the chance to fight for gold and has been taken away only for these reason

Okay. I think we agree that the difference in points was a bit ridiculous. I would like to know very much why the spin was downgraded. At least, this is just Euros and not Worlds... I hope they change that spin before Tokyo.

Well, I don't feel like arguing about this. I was simply stating my opinion. I've already commented before about my thoughts on the OD. We seem to disagree on some things, which is perfectly fine. I'm sorry if anything I've stated has offended you. It wasn't my intent.
