2007 World Figure Skating Championships

Will Albena and Maxim come back in Tokyo as a true champions?? Who will be in the judging panel...what will be the CD...who will be the new champions.....so many questions... ??

Looks like ,at least for the people from Bulgaria,will be a weak without many sleep...

CD- March 20 at 05:00-08:30
OD- March 22 at 04:00-08:15
FD- March 23 at 06:00-10:10

The Japanese people just ADORE figure skating and all skaters I think ! It will be fab there ! But of course, they especially love our dear Albena & Maxim !

I do hope that they have a fair judgment in Japan!!!
I am still very confused at what happened in Warsaw!!

Sure, a Bulgarian judge will be there , but no French judge. Why both are not possible ?!?

Marina, I don´t know. I can´t understand how the judging system works! Sports where judging exists are always very given to controversy, I guess!

Per ISU Communication 1425, here are the judges who will judge the Compulsory Dance at Worlds: AUS, AZE, CAN, CHN, GER, ISR, ITA POL, RUS, UKR, USA, UZB. There are 4 judges from former SSRs, 2 from the Far East/Australia, 2 from North America, 2 from Western Europe and 2 from Eastern Europe.

For the OD , these judges will be added: BUL, CZE, JPN, LTU plus 8 judges selected at random from the CD judges.
For the FD 12 judges from all will be drawn (lets hope the bulgarian one plus not so many counties from the former soviet union)
It looks to me as if А&М are likely to have a more favorable panel than the Euros, of course all depends from their performance and the draw of the judges..
Looking at the judges for the CD i think Dom/S will be first, at the OD- A&M....and we'll se the draw for the FD...
Lets hope they have more luck this time, they deserve it

I really don't know what to say....I only hope Albie and Maxim are judged fairly again!

Me too, i believe that it will be at least a little bit better then in Warsaw, but still we can't know how better...everything depends from the draw for the FD and their performances

I know! So much depends on tiny details!
But, At least I think thAT IT WILL BE MOORE thrilling than in Warsaw!
Those five points behinD after the OD, let us know that Albie and Max were out of the gold! I hope in Japan it will be differenT1

Hm, it seems a very complicated system...
yes, let's hope that Albie and Max will be lucky and Raia Bakalova will stay between the judges for the FD.

Yes unfortunately it doesn't depend only from their performances....i have never paid attention to who is judging before, but after the europeans i believe the scores depend not only from the execution of the dance but also at least 40% from who is judging

Yes, but only if they skate cleanly in all portions of the competition. Which I hope they will!!!

For Worlds, I'm totally hoping for the same people to be on the podium as at Euros-- although obviously in a slightly different order.
