Meh... who needs sleep? Actually, I quite like sleeping. So, it's fairly lucky that I am in the same timezone as the event. hehe. Don't stay up tooooo late, sestrichka!!!!! - Quote :
- I was just like that: "Fab's hair??? Noooo Baaad, baaad Fab Hope he will get his nice usual curls again soon!
Yes, that's exactly what I was like!!! Fab without curls... What is the world coming to, sestrichka? In our letter, we must mention that Fab grow back his curls. - Quote :
- This "a" after "i" is unnecessary
ooohhh!!! so it is! you are right, sestrichka. "Fabiiiiiiiiii!!!!!" what fun!!! - Quote :
- I totally agree with you, Lanchik! There are two problems: Fab's pants with flowers & Nath's white things I can't understand why Nath & Fab don't see the problem They like their costumes??? I don't want to believe.. Stupid little Nath! She is sooo cute with dark hair!!! Ane she is even thiner than last year
I cannot understand it either. I know that costumes are very expensive, but maybe they will replace them later in the year. Maybe Lerchik, when we see their FD we will "understand" Nath and Fab's costumes. But, I somewhat doubt it. They seem like smart people and they had lovely costumes last year. So, I. just. do. not. understand. And is Nath thinner? I thought she looked lovely in the photos. - Quote :
- Right! Very-very "them" And there's something from their Oriental FD costumes from Euros-2003, eh?
Exactly!!! That's what I was thinking. I thought they reminded me of that FD. It must be the knee-ties. Nicer costumes this year, though. I cannot waiiiiiit for the FD!!!!!!!!!!! Kisses Lana

| In the meantime, since no FD results are up, yet. Here are some quotes from the CDs and ODs. From isu.org. Compulsory Dance - Albena & Maxim wrote:
- “First it didn’t feel at all like we’re going to a competition, because we took the train. Usually we travel far and take the airplane. But of course this is thanks to our coaches. They prepared us so well that we weren’t nervous at all”, Staviski answered when asked about how it felt to come back to competition after winning the World title last March. “We started our preparations rather late, because we decided only end of June that we’re going to compete for another year”, Denkova explained. “But we feel better prepared than in previous years, because our programs really suit us this season. Maybe we’re approaching our practices differently, we’re truly enjoying everything what we’re doing.”
- Nath & Fab wrote:
- The French couple first had arrived without their skates which came only this morning at 2 am. “We’re very happy, because it’s the first time that we’re in the top three (at a Grand Prix event), which is quite impressive, for us at least”, Pechalat said. “We skated very well. Fortunately our luggage arrived in time, and we quickly got into the competition. It was a high level competition and hopefully we continue like this. We had practice this morning, we felt the ice well and could adapt to the different size of the ice rink.”
Original Dance - Albena and Maxim wrote:
- Performing to “Libertango”, Denkova/Staviski put out a very characteristic dance that included an intricate side by side footwork sequence and a difficult straight line lift with an unusual entry as well as smooth diagonal step sequence. The Bulgarians scored 62.27 points (31.30 element score/30.97 program component score) and now have 101.46 points overall before the final Free Dance tomorrow. “We’re very pleased that we got a level four for all our elements except for the step sequence that was a level three. That is very good for the beginning of the season. At the first competition you check the reaction of the audience and the judges to the programs”, Denkova commented.
- Nath & Fab wrote:
- Pechalat/Bourzat skated an Argentine Tango that contained a rotational lift with changes of position for her and a well synchronized side by side footwork to receive a new personal best score of 52.88 points (27.70/25.18) and a total of 85.26 points. “Our Original Dance was very good, and we finally reached a podium position in a Grand Prix event. We still have a lot of things to improve, though”, Bourzat told the press. “We tried to keep the spirit of the Argentine Tango. Ballroom (dancing) is straighter while the Argentine dancing is softer and closer.”
Ohh.... First result of the FD is up!!!! 1 Chantal LEFEBVRE / Arseni MARKOV CAN 74.38 44.00 30.38 5.15 4.85 5.05 5.25 5.15 0.00 #1 Arseni should totally go back to skating with Sveta...
