Well, I don't like to say "smarter", I like to say "more knowledgable". We don't know these people-- surely some of them are smarter than we are, but equally surely, some of them are not. Hehe..I see what you mean. Yes, I was reffering to people who study these issues and are more qualified to say this or that. On real basis, facts, documents and so... Well..sometimes i feel so little and helpless. I am aware that I know so little and that it's not possible to know everything, but sometimes it's frustrating. Sometimes I think about all the myths, legends, books I don't have access too. No solutions, no answers...Ah!

and the violence can't be stopped, and the terrorism causes new acts of terrorism and so on and so on... it's sad... It's all horrible, and there's no easy end to it. But I better stop there or I'll start talking politics and then I'll never stop. Ohh..this is another issue. Still a religious one but this is very, very controversial. Fundamentalism has deep roots but in my opinion they didn't understood/interpreted very well some facts. And things got a bit exagerated. Very exagerated. I can try to understand the society and to loose my preducises towards their ways of life but I can never understand a death, a crime. You shouldn't do that under any circumstances...where is the love, the forgivness, the hope...Everything God/Allah is about. We choose parts from it and we apply them but we completely forget the major concept of all this. Ehhh...Grace...politics. An endless subject with infinit areas and problems. politics and religion. Ohhh...tough discussion. But I like it (although I never have enough arguments..)

| Me too, I like reading! I live in lodgings (if that's the word) here in Plovdiv, I mean I don't live with my parents which are in my home town, and for few months (5-6) I didn't had a TV and I read so many books :study: :study: as never. But now I got a TV and .... suddenly I don't have this time to read, the TV distracts me But despite the TV, it took me only three or four days to read Angels and Demons and thrre days - for The Da Vinci Code :study: | |

| I have read the Gospel of Judas too! And I find it rather disturbing! , because it makes us look at the whole issue in a new light! And that is very disturbing to many people! And perhaps a bit scary!! How ever, the CHURCH as an institution, is aware of them and says that people can buy them if they wanT to! OK!! That´´s very nice of them! But they simply don´´t want to discuss them and say that they were anti Christian propaganda! | |

| Girls, I am going to watch Da Vinci Code this evening with a bunch of friends! But I intend to wait for the other girls whose countries the premiere is on Friday to see it and then tell what I think about it!!! As far as I am concerned, we can go on talking about religion, here!! I am not, in the least offended!!! Yesterday evening, one of the portuguese state channels, showed a program about the the book and the sources Dan Brown used to write it!! It was very interesting! It was by an american or english channel that investigated it all! And, although some of the facts maybe true, the people in the program, the ones who investigate it, said that part of it is indeed a great speculation!! Sooo, the discussion is on!!!! | |

| Wow ! I have seen the film this afternoon ! It is very good in my opinion ! I read the book just once, one year ago, so I don't remember all the details, but I think that all is respected in the film. I saw it in original version, and it was better I think because they speak sometimes in English, sometimes in French... I can't tell you more because everybody don't see it, but I can just tell you that actors are very good, especially Audrey Tautou, and the music is great !!! A last thing... It is very funny because I know the Louvre very well (I go to the museum twice or three times in a week) and I recognize the paintings, the rooms... And at the end, we see Langdon who walks, and I take the same way every day ! | |

Marina, Thanks for sharing these details with us! WEll.., when I do watch it...at least I know it won't be a waste of time! And, as I have read the book a year ago too, perhaps it will be more interesting because I really do not remember all the details!!

Wow, Marina - two or three times in a week I read that Jacques Chirac has permitted to the director to film the movie in the Louvre itself, so it's not a decor, but the real Louvre! I can't wait to watch it, today I can't go, maybe next week! Thanks for sharing your opinion :<33:

Yes, my school is in one of the wings of the Louvre, and as I study art history :study: , we have some classes in the museum, in front of the paintings, just where Jacques Saunière died... (it is a little bit frightening no ? ) - Vania wrote:

Thanks for sharing your opinion :<33: No, it isn't a decor ! Only when there is blood on the floor, they weren't allowed to put blood in the museum ! And the scenes in the yard of the Louvre, near the pyramide... It was great ! I'm sure you will love it !
