Albena Denkova is going the get away from a knee surgery. Two times ice skating world champion got an injury during practice with her partner Timur Rodriges in Moscow for the “Ice age” show on first channel of the Russioan tv.
After the first exam in the Russian capital doctors said that Albena has a torn meniscus. However, yesterday she went to out doctors and it turned out that she has injured back. There is no need for surgical intervention, but the head of the Bulgarian skating federation has to recover for at least three weeks with Constantin Ganchev, who was taking care of Albena and Maxim during their sports career.
Because of her injury, Albena left “Ive age”. It is more important that every thing is fine, because I work with my feet – commented Denkova. Maxim is continuing to take part in the show, where he and his partner are leaders. Russian media wrote about a romance between them, but there is no such thing.

Yes, Evgenia, it´s an "older" one ! It´s from yesterday morning, before the examination in Sofia was made. At midday Albenka knew that no surgery is needed!
But that she does not need the operation we knew already from another article I posted yesterday (at page 50 here, the second message from the bottom, above the picture) and we knew it before Aline posted the e-mail from Albenka! And the article / google translation / you refer to I only posted because of the interview with Albenka!
So I thought that because of my posts I made yesterday it was clear that she needs no operation...

Now I can tell that Albie and Timur were the most energetic pair on the project. It makes me sad, becaise they wasted thir time to learn lifts TAT was nagging about. And Timur had a chance to learn steps and dance on the ice, not just move somehow. I think his skating skills were not bad at all.

About the paper, there were so many short messages. But, when I was that google said that Albena was going to be out ot like for monthS, I did not like that, so I decided to translate. Google is doing a good job many times though.

Yes, I´m really glad that the google translator exists! Without it I could not read articles, could not read in Bulgarian and Russian forum, and we all here would know nearly nothing of what is going on!
