Yes, Grace, you have a point here.. Albena and Max deserve this verrry looooooooooooooooong holiday.. they deserve to be happy finally.. to do what they want, to have their private life.. They hadn't any normal holiday since summer 2004 2 years.. Last summer they had only about one or two weeks it was so hard and if they wouldn't have a normal holiday again, it's not a life...

I don't care what they decide, because I trust that the decision is right for them, but I do think they have to do it soon. Unless maybe they're thinking about competing but only doing Europeans and Worlds, in which case they could leave it later... okay, I'm going to stop thinking about this now or I'll drive myself crazy.

Yes..Grace, You are probably right. I was thinking that it would be too long as wel. But after all this years I thought that more time is necessary and helpful. To balance all their life till now...to understand the whole situation properly, to have time to decide.
But, if they are thinking of coming back, they would probably need more time for trainings.

"I'm going to stop thinking about this now or I'll drive myself crazy" - Oh..don't get me started!!..It so painful to wait for a decision..I really don't want to urge them or to make them come back if they don't want too (I'm talking figuratively..not that I could) but I'd love to know something about this...to know once and for all what to expect..if I can hope for another gold medal or not, if I will see them dance again or no..

Middle of June? That's odd, because I read an article where it said that Albena and Maxim would be making a final decision in late May. Well... erm... we are in late May, right now. We'll I guess we will all see soon enough.

I agree totally with everything that you said, Grace. If they decide to keep competiting, but don't get back to training in time, I think their first competition in the GP series will not turn out so well. Sort of like the NHK Trophy from this year... Their performances were quite sloppy there. Unless, they are only going to Euros and Worlds... But speculating will make us all go insane.

If Albena and Maxim do decide to retire, I will be happy for them, because I will know that this was what they wanted to do.
