I think Maxim will be a good boy and he will shave it for Europeans I didn't see the moustache myself, but Maxim's parents said that it was better without it Maxim is not agree, though I'm interested to know what Albena is thinking of it

1) Well, what on earth was Shabalin supposed to say? That Albena and Maxim are so great that he can't imagine beating them and of course he and Oksana will be very happy with second or third? He's an athlete. Of course he wants to win. And they are very close to the top now, so it's no surprise that they are starting to look to first place. Everyone wants to win. That is the point of the competition. Whether you think it can actually happen or not is a completely separate point from whether or not you want it.

And I think Maxim's reaction is hilaaaaaaaaarious. He is quite right. Oksana and Maxim are better than Navka/Kostomarov could ever have dreamed of being, and they will only get better. I don't think they can/should be beating Albena and Maxim yet, but he is very right that they are "not worse" than N/K.

2) Marie and Patch are, in my opinion, the single most overmarked team in ice dance right now. Their marks always make me . I'm sure Canadians will be no different.

3) Ew, a moustache? Shave it, Max! Shave it! I agree with his parents on this point.

Huge difference, I could say Because everyone wants the gold, of course, but Domnina/Sh don't deserve it! To be honest, even if Isa/Olivier deserve it, I don't want them to win

I'm afraid about this too . I hope that they will be on the podium, a 2nd place will be perfect but... Domnina & Shabalin will be there... Last year at Euros, it was just terrible. No podium for Isa & Olivier in Lyon, it was too baaaaad...

Yes it was so frustrating and dégoutant especially because it was in Lyon. Everyone has always had some stimulation at "home" championships. But not Isabelle and Olivier.
