Marina and Gwendal

I don't know what to say.. but I love them from the bottom of my heart.. I was very little when I saw Marina for the first time and I loved her. I didn't know Albenka and Max then.. they still didn't skate together then.. Albena skated with Hristo and they didn't show them in Russia at all..
But now I still can say that Marina and Gwendal are one of the most talented couples in the history of figure skating. They have made a lot for this sport.

And I know also that Albena and Gwendal are very good friends! =))) hehe =)) no reasons for Max's jealousy, though!!

Ohhh... Marina and Gwendal. I still love them! They were the reason I fell in love with ice dance. I really wanted to be Marina when I was 10 or so. I thought she was sooo cool. Maybe, I still want to be her. Why else would I have red hair?

They were truly brilliant and amazing. And I miss them so-so much.

Yes, when I was 8-10 Marina was my ideal, too.. I miss them very much too.. but they perform usually in France now.. =( in Russia they even don't show them.. Still, I have a huge collection of their tapes!

Not even red highlights? You have such nice hair, though. Mine was a blah blond-brown colour. I detested it! hehe. Of course, we both wanted to run around look like Marina! I used to wear a lot of black clothes when I was little! Because, I thought Marina was always wearing black. I was such a crazy child! hehe.

Marina and Gwendal... Oh, for me it's such a pity that I was too small when they were on top. Anyway, even when I didn't like ice dance as much as I do now (actually, I started being interested in dance after 2002 when I met Baidukov ), I adored Marina and Gwen. I still adore them

Yes,Marina and Gwendal were such gooooooood skaters,so lovely programmes...I can talk for each one of their programmes with hours...Each one is unique,fab,awesome!!!

Yes, they're really great skaters. I liked so much their programmes, especially the exhibitions (Danse, mon Esmeralda was fabulous) Also Time to say goodbye, I don't remember if it was the FD or the exhibition
Whatever.... They're so expressive, so artistic

For me Suzanna was the cutest exhibition. I thought it was so funny!!!
At the time I hadn´t discovered my lovely skaters yet!!!

youa re right girls..they were awesome. although i was not paying enough atention to figure skating back then. i remember 2002 though. and i have some videos too...

i love danse mon esmeralda. i cried when i first saw this!! they made me so emotional.. ...i'm easy to impress. especially if you use beauty and talent. because of this i listened to the entire opera "hunchback from notre dame" and belive me, it's worth doing that!! they choosed wisely...

suzanna was great also..marina has something (besides her fiery, beautiful, long red hair )..she knows how to act and she knows how to highlight all of her qualities and everything that's best in the couple. gwendall is also a real talent. my opinion is that he puts a piece of his soul in every performance. and he still loves figure skating. it's a delight to see him taking interviews.

remember when he interviewed albena and maxim, and maxim sugested that he could train them?...that was so cute, a funny moment.
see, another good men is friend with albena and maxim? we've mentioned lithuanians and Maria Petrova/Alexej Tichonov earlier.
i'm happy about this. all of them have so much to offer and offered so much...
lovely performances...

i'm sad because i did not followed figure skating that much back then (occasionally). but albena and maxim made me realise the beauty of the sport. and i'm glad i discoverd this and them as well...

Dear Girls!
I still like to watch Marina and Gwendal! My favourite routine is their exhibition Dance mon Esmeralda !!!

I liked it soooo much, that I even ordered the musical through amazon!!
It's still one of my favourite musicals ever!

So.. there is nothing special, but.. I have kept an eye on them during WC in Moscow.. and.. it was really cute!!!!!!!
The first day I was at the dancing practice.. I had 1st row seats and my seats were near the place where everyone was warming up or so. It was about 6.30 a.m., you see, sestrcihka?
Alby was at the arena already.. she came to say "Hello" to me, but suddenly we saw Gwendal, approaching to us.
Albenka was veeerrry happy to see him (it was obvious!) and Gwen was smiling when he saw Albena. I was shocked. I has never seen Gwendal soo close, before. And I was their huge fan when I was little.. so.. I became speechless.
Gwendal embraced Albena and kissed her.. she was soooo adorable, so beautiful that day (even more than usual hehe )
Gwen was "striked" I was like: damn, they are super cute together!!! if there weren't Nath and Max I wish Albena and Gwen were together!! Joking!! ))
and they talked for a very long time, smiling and laughing!! Awww

Some days later, at the practice again..
It was at the practice after OD.. Albena was sad then.. it was terrible time.. After they with Maxim skated their FD, Albena went to chande her clothes. When she was back to the skating-rink, the last warming-up group was on ice. She was standing near the ice, and suddenly Gwendal appeared just behind her..
He gave her a kiss again! I didn't understand where was Max?!?!?!
Then he took her to the tribune to watch the practice from there. And they were sitting together, Alby's had on Gwen's shoulder..
Cute, eh????? They were lucky neither Max, nor Nath saw them sitting that waaayyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I loved it!

Yeah, I've always been envious of girls with dark hair. This is why I could never understand why Albena dyes hers! Because, I assume her hair must be naturally dark, eh? Still, she always looks lovely, no matter what her hair looks like. How short does Masha want you to get your hair cut, sestrichka?

Maybe, a little close. Mine is darker, though. More brown and less blond. Me and Chel-C used to have the same hair colour for a while, before I dyed mine. People used to think we were related. It was strange. Jenn and Chelsea actually look like sisters. It is the strangest thing ever.

And I love black clothes! hehe. I don't know why really. I just always think they are very nice. hehe. I wear a lot of brown, green and pinks, too.
