yeah, i have poetry summative this year. it's worth 10% of my mark. so besides the project about L.Cohen, i have to write 6 poems. i am excited for that. poetry is "my literary stregth". according to my lit teachers, anyhow.

I tried writing poetry when I was little...Awww...horrible. So childish and ugly I can't really express my feelings in writing. I have my moments though...and then I have to write..something..anything.

You know, It would be lovely and amazing to read some of your poems. I'd be very, very honoured. What are they about usually? Do you have some special themes in them or elements you usually use? Or are they modern writings?

Hehe..you're back! :<33: Yes, I can see why it was frustrating. Imagine having to work for school and your computer isn't working..because ..no electricity. Or you are working on it and suddenly puff...no light..and all the work you've done might be lost...Frustrating indeed. And you can't read either..not much to do.

hehehe. i am always getting inspired by certain sentences and words. literary class is a bit insane, because we are all a bit "obsessed" with words. okay, verrrry obsessed. one of my poems was written on the blackboard for the entire class to edit, and they spent 30 minutes discussing whether one of my adjectives was "acceptable" or not. it's insanity... but now i am going verrry off-topic. anyhow, to answer your question, i am always most inspired to write in the evening... or in the middle of the night.

okay, i will look around for my good ones. i'll definitly share the 6 ones that i have to write, after they are done. my poems are usually about a whole bunch of different things. pretty much anything that interests me at the time. as for elements in them, i use a lot of imagery and metaphors. often, i try to get away from that and experiment with different styles. otherwise, i tend to get bored with my poetry. hehe.

hehe...I'm very focused as well in the evening. Not sure why...I can't concentrate in the mornings at all. So, it's a good moment

Yeah, I'm the same. Before my ankle injury, I used to put my ankle weights on, play Shakira's music and jump rope at 10:00 pm. That was the time of day, when I felt like doing it. Very bizarre.

"Celia" is right here, if you couldn't find it. A girl in my lit class, Nadya, made me a set of photos with my poem on them. (there's more than i have up ) It was the sweetest thing in the world. I couldn't even thank her, right away. I just went completely speechless. We didn't know eachother very well, so I was so surprised.

I don't know why.. maybe just overload of the network.. I was verrrry surprised when I approched our home, I noticed that all the houses are "black".. Hm.. everyone sleep already? no one window shined.. I went upstair.. opened the door.. "Mum! What's going on?" And yes.. I had to do "something" for the uni, but I couldn't! Nadya seems very cute..she did something very nice.

and Lana...wow, the poem. It's beautiful. The whole poem is a metaphore and it has some dark elements in it. I can see now why you have a 30 minutes debate on an adjective. I think the words were beautifull on their own, let alone combined...
