What, exactly, is "5 Stars"? It looks like a singing competition of some kind, but I can't figure out from the website what's going on there.

Grace, it began a long time ago. The biggest showman in Bulgaria - Slavi Trifonov started a campaign for these 5 people. They all sing brilliantly. So they had to pass different tests like image-making/singsing tradiotional songs/singing rap/singing pop etc. And all the songs they sang were written especially for them by young composers. So... the bulgarians had to give marks to the 5 .. and the winner - Svetlio - won a free record of an album. I haven;t heard since then if there is such an album... but the 5 of them were given the opportunity to create their own show every monday night. So here they are...

the problem is that they are some kind of toys of Slavi. His scenery writers write the script of 5 stars... his people are invited in the show..

you know, i do not like him very much... because he became too powerful and too influencial. His show is very very popular.. and two days i watched it - the whole show was full of sexual humour performed in the most disgusting way. The whole show was concerned with sexual things.. and you know, people laugh at it... they always laugh... but it is not witty, nor intelligent, and you can learn nothing from it... i suppose, there are such shows everywhere.. but here in bulgaria.. it has a lot of power on the public's opinion...


anyway, the point of 5 stars is to interview their guests and perform the guest's 5 favourite songs. So we will finally see the songs that albi and max adore it will be fun

i will try to make my best to retell everything for you...

but there is one condition - i must not forget the date and the time of the show! khi khi

Serena is right!! In my humble opinion, Albena and Max are going to repeat what they said in BIG BROTHER show and add some more details to it!!! It's going to be like this..and I am not shocked!!!

I just can't give my opinion, because although Elfaria described the show, I have never watched it!!
I think that it's going to be more or less like the show we watched , when they participated in Big Brother...but perhps this one will be more hot and daring!!

I watched them yesterday in this show - they were fabulous
These are their 5 favourite songs represented in the show:
1. One love, one live - U2
2. Zemlia v illuminatore (great russian song)
3. Guns'n roses - Don't cry
4. Rolling stones - (I don't remember the song's name)
5. A bulgarian folklore song Yovano, Yovanke (I adore it)

About the bulgarian song: they said that they always wanted to make a show on Bulgarian music, because it's very popular in the world I'll be very glad if they'll do that, it will be awesome

Other question: how they meet each other? Maxim said: Albena was cleaning up the floor on the ice rink and I throwed down my chewing-gum I suppose it's a joke, you know what Max is

He said also that he had many partners but Albie is the most beautiful of them (no doubt )

Reporter: Many figure skating couples are couples in life. Doesn't it bother you sometimes?

A: Well, no, because it helps us perform better.
M: And it is more practical!

R: Is Maxim romantic?

A: Maybe not enough. However, some days ago, there was no light in the block of flats, so he put lightbulbs which guided me. It was quite romantic

R: Max, what is the mot beautiful thing about Albena?

M: Albena! She is a wonderful girl!

R: Why did you choose One love, One life?

M: Because we are one love and one life

R: And why did you choose Трава у дома?

M: It is connected with nostalgy. I haven't seen my parents for a year and I want to go to Russia so much!

R: And how was your childhood?

M: Childhood! Did I have one? It was always the ice

R: Well, How did you find each other - Russia and Bulgaria?

M: I had proposals from France, USA, and even Australia. Maybe they had offered me a kangeroo

R: And who made the first step toward your personal relationship?

M: I did of course.

R: And how?

R: Is there going to be a wedding on the ice?

A: No way! I am sick of ice!

R: And are we waiting you to become a triple? (not couple, but something with 3 people)

A: First we have to finish with sport.
M: Well, making a child is a quick job.

R: How do you chose the music for your performances?

A: We try to take part in the decision - not the coaches because after all it is us who are skating on the ice - we have to feel the music!

R: Are there skaters with music that is made especially for them?

M: Yes of course. Evgeni Plushenko goes on his performances with his violonist but our Vasko Vasilev is much better! (Vasko Vasilev is amazingly famous violinist - he is the teacher of Vanessa Mae. He is toghether with her mother although he is young. And... Vanessa has been announced as one of the richest people younger than 30 years in Britain!)
A: Our music this year was especially made. Even Maxim tried to be a musician in a way. He talked to the people who made it... where to put a stress, how to sound, etc.
M: Yes, I said "Here we must have a BANG!" And they put it

R: Who wins in the fights and quarrels? Maxim seems quite mild-tempered.

A: Well, he is not!
M: You know the old saying "Listen to your wife and do exactly the opoosite!"

R: Why did you choose Don't Cry?

M: Because I tell Albena in difficult moments "Don't Cry"!

R: And the audience is always throwing things on the ice... What happens with them?

M: We have a mansard with one bed in the middle. And we have all these soft toys gathered around the walls... and now the circle of toys is closing. And I think, we have to buy another appartment in orther to use it for a store. But we remember every one of the toys - from which competition it was.. and it brings as a lot of memories.
A: There are always interesting presents. This year they gave us a lot of... i cannot remember it's name - like a fly-catcher. These things bring positive energy and it is very nice (Btw, i think that Albena is talking about the Indian Dreamcatchers - you know them)
M: If we need money, we can open a toy-shop!

R: Do you have some rituals before skating?

M: Yes of course. We light nomerous candles in a room. Then we catch a hen and we cut off its head. We spray it's blood in the room, then we take off our clothes and start dancing around!
A: Oh, Max, stop joking! (This evening Max was quite funny indeed!) In the beginning I had some rituals, but now I am more confident in my own skills, so I don't do anything special.
M: Long time ago she had 9 voodoo dolls - for the nine judges!
A: Oh, Max! I didn't have such dolls!

R: Is it true that medals smell?

A: Maxim's medal maybe smells of vodka. It is because of a Russian tradition to put the golden medal in a glass of vodka and then everyone drinks for luck. In Bulgaria we use the word "water" for luck, but obviously the Russians prefer drinks of higher degree
M: Albenka didn't drink anything but now she is getting used to it - she has to drink for parties and toasts And by the way, when people are drinking from the glass with your medal - you should always watch if somebody is going to swallow it!

R: I have never liked Navka .... whatever her other names were.

A: You would have liked her if you saw her in an erotic magazine.

R: Which magazine?

A: Maxim's magazine!
M: I do not have an erotic magazine! These are for artificial women! (In Bulgarian - Тези списания са за тунинговани жени!)

R: What do you do for fun?

M: We go to the seaside. I try skiing, but Albena doesn't let me go because it is risky.

R: How about making a Bulgarian competition?

A: We have thought of that. And I really want to make soomething on Bulgarian music. It is so beautiful... and we will see!

@ People, i hope you like it - i have tried to make it sound as it sounded in Bulgarian - because it was funny and interesting. I have some doubts.. that Max had drunnk before the show one vodka! Khi khi And Btw, white writing the interview, i wanted to ask you Lerka, to tell Maxim's parents about these interviews - they might be interested to read them.. but i suppose they have watched them... anyway, sorry for the bothering.

And one more thing! Guys, one sunny, wonderful day, when Albi and Max are going to make thei ice show... why not gather all in Bulgaria?! I know that it will be difficult and expensive, but i assure you that there is nothing better than a summer in Bulgaria! On the seaside! I know the best place ever! And ladies, thank you for your confidence in me and your support!
