I did not have the possibility to watch pairs LP, but I´m sad for Aliona and Robin...
And I really don´t want to imagine the reaction of their coach Ingo Steuer backstage afterwards...
But I´m glad for Xue and Hongbo . They always have been great skaters...

Thank you for the pics ,Petra. As for the outfits,Max looks good in everything and at least for now he doesn't have to run and change them every time when his skaters from diffferent countries are competing but hopefuly this time will come soon

Alona and Robin made few mistakes and Robin fell on one of the jumps but it wasn't that bad compare to other teams.I don't know what was that yesterday but besides the silver and gold medalists everybody else had falls and mistakes /even Xue and Hongbo on one of the lifts/.S/S coach wasn,t that mad but by his reaction you could tell he knew that they were going get less points. Anyway the second part was beautiful and i am glad that they are at least bronze medalists.

I am speechless....What is going on with Brian?...68.00 ranking 10 I'm afraid to watch till the end because there are still 9 skaters to go and I just don't know if I have the strength to see his final position ...Not to mention Stephane...I don't know about you guys but I was expecting more.Maxim was also shocked...he just stood there and asked Brian if he needed hankies....

I know what you mean brita.He is 18-th I am still waiting for NBC to show his performance but even if there was a fall i don't understand .

Lambiel is 5-th. which means he must do the imposible to get to the podium.
NBC was showing clip with Plushenko saying that he want to repeat Button's double Olympic title but with the little difference between him and Evan anything could happened . What a mess.

And to add more drama to the situation, the only reason Brian didn't end up 19-th was because one single skater of the 9 remaining after his performance was below him and that one skater was Thomas .....it's like he doesn't know what he's doing anymore .He was also a big disappointment for me. The only ray of light for me was Michal Brezina ....I think he's my future favorite skater .But all in all it's not good and I don't understand because these boys are still young and considering their previous performances I was expecting more

I'm so disappointed that I don't know what to say! I missed Brian's performance (I fall asleep during the ice cleaning and woke up a bit later) and when I saw that he was 14th , I was like: ! You can not pretend to become olympic champion and skate like this! I'm afraid that he'll totally lose his concentration in the free .
I'm sorry also for Tomas! What happens with this guy on big championships? Compared with these two, Stéphane made very good programme, except this mistake on the combination . He was so sad in the K&C But I'm still optimist and I hope he'll win a medal . 6 points aren't too much but he MUST skate clean!

he couldn't make his jumps. that's really disappointing. hopefully he'll do better at the LP. it was nice to see Maxim on the K&C though...

After reading all your posts about Brians SP I´m only glad that I this night decided not to watch this desaster live at TV! I was too tired and therefore went to bed.
I´ll see if I somewhere can find a vid of this unbelievable 18. place after SP now. But I know this will be difficult because Olympic committee has already started his copyright politics and is deleting youtube account after youtube account...
And I only hope Brian will pull himself together now and will show us at least a clean LP ! With this placement there shouldn´t be any pressure on him now . And I think that a clean LP is that what he owes now to Albena and Maxim !!!

Couldn´t he have left away the "1" in the "18" and end as 8. after SP? That would have given him at least a minimal chance to come into the top 5...

I´m glad now that Albie is at home in Sofia and did not need to watch this 18. place live!!!

really hope he'll do better at the LP. Maxim looked very sad too at the K&C. I believe Albena is in the same mood now after watching the SP.

Me neither, I don't like him... I don't like much the Japanese skaters either. I have to admit, though, that Daisuke had a really very good performance, but the other two Japanese didn't impress me at all Nor Evan, despite his brilliant jumps...
I don't care anymore who'll be Olympic champion Let the best one win, whoever it is...
