Congrats to the winners !!

For me the second place for Aliona and Robin is ok , especially after all the difficulties especially Aliona has had during the last weeks and after the difficulties both of them have had during the whole season. There are still 3 weeks left till Olympics, and I think as soon as she can train regularly again it should be possible for them to beat Kavaguchi and Smirnov at Olympics again. If they will be able to beat the Chinese pairs at Olympics, that´s really the question in this season, but we´ll see in some weeks. Important is only that Aliona today had the strength to go through the whole program, and this with nearly no training of the new LP during the last weeks. Well done, both of you!!!

Really very high level for the three medals !!
Fantastic competition!! I like all, so I am very happy !!!
Surely Aliona will improve for the Oly and will be a great fight
with the Chinese...but I like also Shen /Zao and Pang/ Tong (less Zang
Zang..) so I think that I will enjoied very much!!!

About Lambiel...me too , I watched all the competition and
in the warm up he made a wanderful comb quad/triple !!!

Brian..... ... too many mistakes and I think he lost his concentration in the end...

But... Steph got the silver! I haven't expected that after his 5th place! Congrats!!!!!!

I am speechless ...On the one hand my heart is breaking for Brian but on the other hand I can't help feeling happy for Stephan ( he is my favorite guy ever since he skated to one of my favorite songs 'I don't want to be' by Gavin D'Graw at the 2006 worlds gala )
I guess I'm more surprised because Stephan and Evgheni both retired for a while now while Brian was constantly in competitions and still they reached the first two positions...I know they are great skaters but the lack of training was not as obvious as I thought it would be.
Anyway, this year's big event are the olimpic games so GO Brian!!!

Same for me, Brita . Stephane has always been my favourite (from the skaters who are still competing), but I'm so sad about Brian... He's able to much more, I don't know what happened with him today, I hope it's not because of the injury... maybe because he arrived in Tallinn late and doesn't have enough practice But it shouldn't be a problem for a skater like him!

Brian during the last weeks has had a lot of problems with his jumps (and not only during the last weeks ). The jumps simply are his weak part. The choreography is the strong part, but even the best choreography can´t help when his jumps are not clean, overrotated, double instead of triple,...and and and ...
When you watch training vids of Brian, you can really state that Brian is the world champion in jumps, but this is only in training ... His quads, his triples , his combinations in training normally are well done... During competition, he has problems a lot. The nerves, the late arrival in Tallinn, the lack of training on Estonian ice, the pressure in France, that all might be reasons. We will never know. Only Brian knows...
It will be hard to reach for a medal at Olympics, and to be honest, I do not think that he will be on the podium there. There are so strong skaters in other countries this year, his chances for a medal in Vancouver are minimal, and this only because of his crazy problems with the jumps...
The hope dies last, but I´m really not very positive for a medal in Olympics. And believe me, I always belonged to the Brian supporters during the last years...

I´m glad for Steph ! Fantastic LP ! And for me much better than Plushe´s one!!!!!

I am sad about Brian but i am sooooo happy for Stephan.I apologize for the treachary but i can't help.Stephan deserved his medal.I don't know but maybe Brian needs magic wings on his skates and blades because i can't think of anything else .Good luck and more confidence ,wait he has that but maybe more concentration and not to think about medals, placement and etc,just to enjoy the skating and try his best.

Albena was there of course. She was with Maks & Laurent during the warm-up. But Brian can do definitely better ! I was very surprised after so SP that he was so close to Plushenko. Now he has to deal with the pressure and to avoid mistakes.

The OG will be very interesting with such good skaters and also with the Americans and Japaneses ones.
