I just watched it ... It´s really hard to recognize Maxim in his costume ... and the lifts ... wonderful, high difficulties... ... the whole dance is really incredible ...

But please, why the low marks ? Maybe too many lifts, or what is the reason?
I mean, they have the second worse marks from todays performances ... I hope this does not mean they might be out of the project now ...

The dance was really nice! And there still are other pairs to skate so it's not time to worry

My opinion is that Tatiana reduces the performance's value because she
practically does not make anything.
She is still too uncertain...
Maxim makes all.....

She should learn to skate a little bit more alone ... I hope she will learn it ... with this coach it should be possible

But when you watch other skaters with higher marks, then ...
e.g. I just watched Rita Drobiazko and her partner... he was sitting on the ice more than 30 seconds, really doing nothing ... and their marks were much higher ...

(P.S.: Please don´t understand it the way that I write something against Rita here! I only use her and her partner as example!)

Yes, Petra, Piemontesina, it is exacly what I thought, too, when I wached it (thanks for the links, by the way... )...
It is always easier for the couples with a female celebrity/male professional skater than for those vice versa, as the men can lift the girls...
As there is barely anything that Maxim cannot do on the ice, since he's so absolutely reliable, Tatiana relies on him...

Did I get that right: they devided the whole cast in two halfs, with half of the couples perfoming in one week and the other couples in the the next?? Was it that way in the last season, too??

(I still have lot to learn about the Ice Age..., especially about the "who is who"...)

Yes, "Why", this year they devided the participants into two parts. I don´t know how long they will do so, but at the moment they do. Reason is that there are more pairs than last year. This year they talked about up to 18 or 20 pairs... Maybe when some pairs are voted out they will not devide into two parts any longer, but about this I´m not sure. Last year in any case they did not devide the participants.

And I found in other forums that there are some serious injuries among the participants that does not allow skating anymore... this concerns the pairs Friske / Novikov and Lobacheva and her partner ... I don´t know if they will find other skaters instead of them ...

And I don´t know if we have the same proceedure as last year relative to who of the skaters has to leave the show. Last year the last two skaters of the week had to skate again the next week, and then the jury made the decision who had to leave and who could stay. I´m not sure if it´s the same this year. But I don´t think so because I remember reading somewhere that now the last four couples have to skate again and they will throw out two couples of them... But I´m not sure...

Maybe Vania, Viktoria, someone of our Russians or someone else knows more about it ...

Thank you Petra.The dance was beautiful and original , the make up and costumes were one of the best in this episod.I tried to see mistakes but don\'t agree that Tania is not skating good for a beginner.This dance was great and complicated , the only minus was the speed in the second half and it makes me think that maybe was too early for Tania .It is still the begining of the show and IMHO she has a great potential and spirit of a fighter and they are one of the best teams in the show

I hope so too Petra.I have a fait that they will continue.

My, harsh rules... comparable to the "skate off" in the german show, as far as I remember (the two last couples have to repeat their performance, than the last one of these two will be out...).

I'm looking forward to seeing Albena and Timur, I was impressed by his skills he showed in their first program.

When I watch the faces of Max, Tanya and Ilya, I presume nothing good ...
It really would be interesting to know what she said ...

Besides: What I forgot to write above: I really liked it that the dance narrated a story, something that is / was typical for the dances of Max and Albie, something that always made them different to others, and that Max was successful to show in this dance too... ... even if it turned out that this narration of a story was a little bit to difficult for Tatiana / for the first show ...
I simply want to state that I liked it ...

I'll try to translate as much as i can .

"Well , first i liked this pair very much, i love very much Staviski,Maxim .I like his manner of skating .I can tell that they like working with Ilya /Averbukh/ and more important he has something very good to work with because Maxim is is very prospective material .I don't think at all that this is a low score because it is still the first day.I gave them 5.8 because Tania skated very little.Escpecialy in the second part where the music was faster. She couldn't catch up and this is why i lower the score.Of course the lifts were very good and she learned to do them very well .The artistry was good ,the costumes were great and the choreography was considered very well .The begining was very interesting and the composition was just right . I believe this is one of the best work for Ilya .And from my right side /she meant Sikharulidze / someone was telling me that the girl is also very beautiful .

Ahhhhh! You´re a darling, Viki, but I think you know this already !

You are very welcome Petra.We all are her to support our darlings and to help each other.


P.S. I just watch the rest of the show and IMO all non-prof skaters skated at the same level .Lanskaya is maybe more secure but considering she skated a little bit before ,for me Gordeeva's partner was the most impresive and improved so far .
