Yes, congratulations! - Especially to Alexej (is that "Lesha"? I'm having a hard time keeping track of Russian nicknames) for fighting through his jumps like that. They weren't very pretty, but they had all the rotations and they were all landed on one foot, and many other people did worse. Maria was just lovely! The music "Moonlight Sonata" was perfect for the quiet sweetness of this couple!

I think that Lera means some other hair-does Masha wore at our SOI -tvshow. Some of them were really amazing! It's a shame she never does them for competitions! She is a real beauty! :study:

I remember at the show in Sunday, after one of their programmes (they performed two) Lesha hugged Masha so tenderly, it was soooooo nice it was really very, very cute!

Masha and Lesha are the last to compete.
They even didn't go to get their number - as they have always been quite unlucky in it taking the first.
Maxim Trankov did it for them

On the 3rd of May in St.Petersburg academy of Figure Skating Masha and Lesha said good bye to the Sport. Their fans made a great show for the pair. They even were given gold medals - they have became "the champions of our hearts"

They really are.
