Even with registration the video was very slow but I will try to translate briefly the most important parts.The interview with A&M starts @ 31-st minute.
Albena and Maxim were discussing with Zvetanka Rizova the resent court decision on the trial between Manuela Kostova and her representatives and Insurance Company "Generaly". After Max and Albena found out that Manuela had to pay the court fee in amount of 21 000 leva they were shocked by the absurd decision and even though Max was a third part in the trial he went and payed for Manuela.Later was announced that the Insurance Company also refused to take money from Manuela.
Because of all speculations and accusations during the last almost four yeras about Max's help and his partitipation in Manuela's recovery the hostess insisted that Max needs to uncover the truth. Albena said that after the accident he was feeling extremly guilty and prefered to stay silently in the shadow and not to bother people with his persona but this was wrongfuly interpreted by many people as running away, hiding and avoiding . Maxim added that he didn't hide but was working on several projects in Russia which helped him to continue .On the question about remembering and having nightmares,he answered that the memories about what happened in August 2007 are still very vivid and even when he gets distracted for few seconds with his work , his brain always would take him back to the accident and what he caused to the victim's families, Albena and their relatives. Albena said that after all that was written about Max in the media for a moment she also was doubting wheiter or not she should believe and stay with him.She admited that it is not easy to decide to stay beside the men who turned upside down your life and the life of your relatives, that momets like those are challenging your trust, friendship, loyalty and love but her moral values as a human being and sportsmen, her life experience and the fact that she knew him better and trusted him , helped her to shield herself from those rumors and negative opinions, and continue to look ahead. Maxim said that he never saw hesitation in her eyes and even when he asked her to let him go ,so she can live better, he faced her negative reaction.
About his persoanl and financial help during the years after the accident , Maxim answerd that he paid 259 000 leva to the family of Petar / the young man who died in the accident/ and that he transferd almost 130 000 leva in Manuela's charity account / which is almost on third of the account/ before the court decision because he knew that she needed the money. About his relationship with Manuela's parents he explained that at the begining he comunicated only with the father and they were going in the same direction about the choice of hospital and doctors, the transfer and the therapy .The mother refused any kind of contact with him and he completely understanded her .Later after Krasimir Gorsov's false accusations he limited his communications through his lawyer. The most recent was from two-three weeks ago when he responded to Gorsov's request for assistance by buying the neccessary medicine for Manuela and paying their eletricity bills but his efforts weren't appreciated because they probably expected cash. Despite the fact that his help is ignored and he is not leaglly obligated to pay more; even though he is not a rich businessmen and his financial abilities are limited to his work, Max stated that he will continue to help as much as he can. Albena also said that she understands the emotional status of Manuela's mother and doesn't blame her for some of her comments.
Mrs.Rizova asked them what they think about the public love and hate and the opinion that it could have been better if Max went to jail. Max answered that the objective opinion can't be absolute and that if he had to go to prison he was ready to do it but the court decisided differently.Albena said that is very dificult to find the right approach : if Max went to jail people would have said that he didn't want to pay,when he was sentenced to pay huge for Bulgarian standarts amount people said that he bribed the institution and payed his way out of the jail.Either way this was none winning situation.
Another question was about their 2007 FD "Seven Deadly Sins" and if they now believe in the superstitious rumors about the curse of Mozart's Requiem . Albena answered that it has nothing to do with what hapened but she believes that there is a balance in the univerese between the positive and the negative.After the success and winning their second tittle they lost that balance and the enormous wave of love and admiration in March 2007 was followed by the avalanche of hate after the accident in August 2007.
On the question how their child change them,Max answered that he is the only person that would make him smile and for Albena their son was the reason that turned the page around and helped her to continue ahead.
