Worlds 2010, Torino

The World Championships in Figure Skating will be held from 22. - 28. March 2010 in Torino.

Well "Kings on Ice" tour would be no problem, but he decided to participate in "Thin Ice" where he skates with Shizuka Arakawa and because of that can't skate in amateur competitions anymore.

Maxim's knee is too bad -they weren't going to the Worlds anyway, I'm happy they can earn some money before people forget about all this figure skating in Russia (and it will happen soon I assume ((()

So many talented skater are going to miss the Worlds but if you look from the bright side they'll get to earn some extra money while they can.In this sport you get hurt and njured but hardly rich /get for example Maxim Shabalin and his knee,Ben Agosto and his back,Stephan also left for a year because of injury and who knows Tomash probably also have problems/.So i am both sad and will miss them but happy for being able to make something else. And Valechka figure skating is not forgoten in Russia just some people needed good wake up call and sadly but it happened at Olympics .Can't get worse than that and hopefuly by Sochi 2014 everything will be if not OK at least better. Cheer up darling.

I just watched the SP and i really enjoyed it.I haven't seen him so confident this season,the jumps , the spins and the footwork were great.He looked soo happy and i am very happy for him

GOOOOOO BRIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (even though I didn't see his performance cause I had to go out).I also wish I could've seen Michal Brezina...my new favorite guy but I guess he did pretty good since he currently ranking 5 .
Nonetheless I can't help feeling sad because of Stephane ...I thought I would get to see him one last time in competition at the worlds .I'm so sad that it depresses me to see that other Swish guy (I know Vania is feeling my pain)
And poor Artem ...I have never seen such a thing before ...his blade broke in half ...he should sue the manufacturers

Yes, Brita , I was feeling the same thing, when I was watching Jamal Othman , but maybe, Stéphane made the right decision, right for himself. If he prefers skate in galas, it's ok (although the competition isn't the same ).

And what a wonderful performance of Brian ! This is Brian Joubert that we know . Let's hope he'll skate like this today and will win a medal!
