| The Winter Olympics in Vancouver / CAN will begin in some days , and Albena and Maxim (hopefully) will be there with Brian Joubert . We hope for fantastic Winter Games in figure skating, for many good programmes (especially for two fantastic programmes without mistakes of Brian ), and for at least some photos of Albena and Maxim in Vancouver ! MAY THE BEST SKATERS WIN THE MEDALS! EQUAL FROM WHICH COUNTRY THEY ARE! Here´s the schedule for the figure skating events (in Vancouver time): http://www.vancouver2010.com/olympic-figure-skating-schedule-results/ | |

| As far as I know they have accreditations... Hm, I hope I´m not soooo wrong and don´t mix something now... I think somewhere long ago we have had an article about their accreditation for Olympics.. But I´m not 100% sure, because they are listed for IceAge shows at the same time. Vala, therefore I wrote: - Petra wrote:

P.S.: And if it really turns out that they are not there, then Vania can easily move this topic elsewhere... | |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Albena and Maxim received an accreditation for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver!!! By the French skating federation ! They will be in Vancouver with Joubert!!!

Translation by google: "Albena and Maxim in Vancouver by Irina Tzekova / November 18, 2009 17:10 Bulgaria will still attend the Olympic figure skating tournament in Vancouver, where it presented twice by the dance world champions Albena Denkova and Maxim Stavisky. The duet is accredited, by the French Federation. Albena and Maxim are working this season as the star choreographers of Brian Joubert, one of the contenders for Olympic gold in men. Denkova and Staviski spend more time in France and only fly to Moscow to participate in "Ice Age". French specialists appreciate the work of our couple dance, which is considered a pioneer in modern figure skating choreography. Some maintain that came up with Albena and Maxim are still hit and dance for their voluntary second world title in Tokyo `07 went into the history of ice sports. Now Brian Joubert will interpret their work, the question is whether it will succeed to play the ideas of our great champions."

| Petra, thanks for the schedule! Very useful! Yes, Vala, unfortunately the competitions are too late (or early) European time, and this time, since A&M don't compete, I have no reason to wake up early , as in Calgary, when the competition started at about 2 a.m.... I presume Eurosport will broadcast the most interesting also in daytime, not only in the nights... And me too, I think Albena and Max will be there | |

I remember that for some reason I couldn't see the Free Dance life and when I switched on the recorder the first thing I saw was Belbin and Agosto on the podium. I think I'll stay awake for men and dances : Off - Vanechka - I began to study Bulgarian!!!! | |

| It seems it will be possible to watch the Olympics here live . That´s good to know for countries with nearly no figure skating broadcast from Olympics! http://www.eurovisionsports.tv/olympics/ Thanks to Brian´s forum for the link! It only works for users from Europe! (Sorry for all the others!) If you want to know when they broadcast the different sport events, click here: http://www.eurovisionsports.tv/olympics/epg/index.html and then click through the different dates. When you have found the event you want to watch there in the same info-line is given the broadcast channel. You can choose the right channel by clicking on the first link I gave in this post. Then scroll to the bottom of the page that opens. There you will find the channel. Click on it and it should work! | |

Translation by google: "Albena and Maxim travel will travel at weekend Albena Denkova and Maxim Stavisky will travel to Vancouver at the end of the week. Double world champion in figure skating of ice dancing in a few months prepared the choreography of the French title hope for Brian Joubert. Former gold medalist at the world is still recovering from a leg injury received in training. According to this one can estimate that Joubert is not sufficiently strong mentality and this may prevent him from fighting with Evgeni Plushenko, Evan Lisachek, Stephane Lambiel and others in Vancouver. Denkova and Staviski are still in Poitiers, where they train Brian. Bulgarian couple previously had holdings in several galaprograms. For gold is tight Tannith Belbin and Benjamin Agosto. American dance couple rely on specialists Natalia Linichuk and Gennady Karponosov with which Albena and Maxim won the title. (24 hours)" | |

| It was exciting to see Stephane Lambiel carrying the Swiss flag ahead of his fellow countrymen in the opening ceremonies. The television commentator did not even mention it. I'm thinking he was not familiar with many of the Olympians. None of the other skaters were flag bearers for their countries. | |

None of the other skaters were flag bearers for their countries. Yes, except of Stéphane and Kevin. I think there was another skater, from North Korea, but I've never heard his name . Edit: The full list of the flag-bearers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Winter_Olympics_national_flag_bearers Somehow, I was expecting to see Bjoerndalen with the Norwegian flag , but it wasn't him... | |

| Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy yesterday have had a little training accident on the ice . One of Alionas skates cut into Robins hand... They had to stop training , but later said that it had looked worser as it is. They say nothing bad has happened ! And Robin said the cut will not handicap him during SP and LP ! Goooooo! | |
