I just pray this time everything is ok, no fires or whatsoever

maybe a flood this time .. just kidding. I want this time everything to go well too. I still remember how much we were looking forward to see them and it didn't happen. So i hope it will happen now.

Yes, I found this site, too. This afternoon, Albie and Max were still listed, but now they aren´t any longer. At least I can´t find them on the list any more. It seems as if the site has been updated this evening. They are still on the flyer, but not named any longer in the text.

Now, at 21:00 o´clock, I´m not really sure about what I´ve written here. I don´t want to make confusion, but does anybody know it exactly ?????

I just checked out they they are also not listed at the following two shows any longer (two or three weeks ago they were still listed):
17.11.2007, Fashion on Ice, Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, NY and
13.12.2007, Country on Ice, Target Center, Minneapolis, MN

On 29.August 2007 they also had to cancel their participation in the "Sommerabend auf dem Eis" (= A summer´s evening on the ice) show in Oberstdorf / Germany. I´m so sorry for them!!

Because they asked Albena & Maxim to come, because the organizers of the gala in Nice are really interested in them and noone in Lille does.

Does anybody have info about the gala in Nice? Were Albena and Maxim there?

As I found in Brian Jouberts forum, they will participate today at 17.00 o´clock during the gala ... But I don´t know how reliable that source is . I´m not visiting it very often ...

And while "googling" a found a French press article from 15.Oktober 2007 / "Communiqué de presse" concerning the "12ème Coupe internationale de la ville de Nice" in which they are listed, too . So let´s hope for them (and for us )!

From an official French site (as far as I could find out from this week):
Quote: "Avec des invités vedettes du Gala: Brian Joubert, Champion du Monde et double Champion d´Europe, Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski, doubles Champions du Monde de dance sur glace."
Translation into English: With invitation (vedette=?, it might mean : famous sportsmen or anything like that ...?) for the Gala: Brian Joubert, World Champion and double European Champion, Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski, two times world champions in ice dancing.

So I hope they are really there ...

Well, but I told you already that they ARE there so it's true. They arrived to Nice yesterday evening and they will be back to Moscow tomorrow morning

so they did participate should we expect video any time now.....from some tv, because home made videos are not the best

I have been checking this to see if someone posted a video. I want to see Albena and Max back on their skates.

How big is the event , maybe some local TV channel will recorded ,maybe in the news but still i wish i could see Albie and Max. They should have personal movie recorder to go with them everywhere.

I talked with Albena yesterday and she said she got an email from Japan telling her about the Stars on Ice and she was so cute "They haven't sent us an invitation yet, but if they listed us, so they will !! It's such a nice surprise !! I'm really glad " So they will participate with pleasure if everything will be okay

Maybe MCM. This TV has recorded many figure skating events. The other possibilities are TV5 or Canal +.
