Sorry for my late report, but I just came home ...

!! I made some more, but you know I make pics not digitally, so you´ll have to wait a little bit... (and I hope at least some will be usable
)... I hope to have them ready on Monday or Tuesday evening.
Here´s a scan from the IceAge brochure I bought; Albena with Igor (Max is not mentioned in the brochure):
So you already know from Ewuch that Albena and Maxim
(and Igor) danced in Nürnberg
.
They came with the bus very late, at 18.00 o´clock, one hour before the show should start. Just at this moment I was at the other side of the arena
(this smiley is only for me!), I saw the bus, ran, but could not reach it early enough. The skaters were inside the arena before I could reach them. But then they forgot to close a large gateway / gate of the arena, and some minutes later the skaters appeared and started practising. And from this moment on I knew Albena and Maxim were there
!! And a woman next to me smiled and said to me: "Oh, Denkova and Staviski are here! That´s wonderful!". But I could see only a small part of the rink, and for pics it was too far away...
The show started with some delay, and Albena and Maxim opened the opening
with one of their lifts
. It was the one where Max leans back and balances Albena on his knees
. Great opening! Both of them made a good impression, and when the spectators realized that "Denkova and Staviski" were there, you could really feal and hear how most of them were lucky about this
.
Albena made her first dance with Igor: the "tourist". They really skated great (Igor too
), and it was really fun to watch them. Both of them really had fun on the ice, and this fun really infected the spectators, who at some parts of the dance really bursted with laughter. They both got huge applause, and we did not leave them off the ice before they danced an encore
.
Then Albena danced with Maxim
, their romantic "Tango"
. They used the new version with the new beginning
, and it was really great to watch them
! It was full of passion, very romantic, and it really was a pleasure to watch them. They danced as if Max had never been away from the ice, and danced as before the accident
! Max really seems to have his old form back
! All the spectators were silent during the dance, and I really could feel that everybody enjoyed watching them! And Albena and Max really enjoyed their dance , too. This was visible for everybody! They
both smiled during their dance! After the dance, the spectators bursted with applause
. I watched especially Max at this time: he was smiling (as you know him from "old" times
), he really seemed to absorb the applause! We gave both of them so much of it, that I´m completely sure they left the ice with a very good feeling! But before they left the ice, they had to give an encore, too
! And at the end some spectators threw some flowers on the ice, and Albena came and picked them up herself
! Hmmmm
, sweet Albena!!!
In the second part of the show Albena made a dance with Igor again. Sorry
, I don´t know the name of this dance
, but it was the one in which Igor at the beginning has the white coat / overall on. I hope you know which one I mean
. It was a great dance, too (again
to Igor), and they again got a lot of applause and again had to dance an encore!
Unfortunately Albena made no more dance with Maxim
.
But Max had another funny appearance on the ice! Have you ever seen Max, with skates on, playing football on the ice
? It was such a fun watching him
!! Even if he once had to use his hand instead of his skates
...The other two football-players were Ilia Klimkin and Alexander Abt!
Albena and Max also participated at the closing, and they had to bow many many times!
After the show I waited for them at the bus. First we were only two waiting, but then many other spectators came too because they wanted to have autographs from the skaters. And it came as it comes soooo often in Germany
: I only say one word: "security workers"! They made a blocking that we were not allowed to pass
! And when the skaters came out off the arena, some of the younger girls that were standing in first rows shouted so loud and behaved in a really unnessessary way
, that most of the skaters decided to go immediately into the bus, Albena decided so, too
, and Max stood with some other skaters in front of the bus, smoking his cigarette
, but too did not come to us
. Only Irina Slutskaya, Igor Vernik and two or three others came and gave autographs...
So, I hope you can enjoy my report! I enjoyed the show! It really was a great one, that has had no resemblace with the first IceAge show in November in Düsseldorf! And I´m really glad I survived the twelve hours in the train to come to the arena and to come home afterwards...
