Yep, so many Japanese 2 men, 3 women... including one substitute and very few russians - only Domnina/Shabalin and Maria/Alexey I suppose it's a little disappointment for the Russian Federation - without Irina, Evgeniy... But there's a chance for someone else

That's it, Vania! Only two couples! One - in Ice-dancing and one - in pairs, so.. think! Think a little, girls!!! The event is in Russia. Russia has always been one of the most influential countries in figure skating. Russia can't finish without medals. And Piseev will do everything he can and he can't to put these skaters as high as possible.

I think Maria and Alexei have very good chances :heart2:they are going to win. I would like Aliona and Robin to get a medal, but I think it's going to be veryyy difficult. The chinese and the americans have good chances too!

Even if they'll fall, they can get a the medal. Look at what happen at CoR...
Few hours ago, I was talking with a friend who skates with me, and we said that we don't think that Isa & Olivier wil be on the podium. Of course, we want, but we think it will be very very difficult. We think they will be *again and forever* 4th...

I really hope that AM and Masha and Lesha win. Also, Isa and Oliv get a medal and so do Aliona and Robin. And I'm sure that O&M will make the podium if Piseev has his way... And D/Shab will probably make the podium as well...

As for the ice pairs, I think he can't do anything if the russian couple make mistakes (I hope that won't be the case ), and if the others are perfect. But as for the ice dancing... I'm getting worried. I'm sure Russia will have a medal here, maybe bronze I haven't watch the programs of all the concurrents of A&M and I can't say what place they deserve.

That Piseev is a presindent of the Russian Federation, Serena. He is about 45 y.o. or so I think As for the judges, HIS WIFE is a judge and a technical controller - Alla Shekhovtsova. Both they are really powerful persons in the FS world, because they have a lot of relations in the ISU.

Well, I feel like a total idiot right now! That's the 5th time I've said or done something stupid today! Hehe...but my AP World History is even stupider right now... Ironically, we are doing our case study on Russia right now...and our sub knows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it!!!! I know is not the topic for that but french federation decide that nathalie and fabian will not skate at european championships in Warsaw....only delobel/schoenfelder (of course) and Carron/Jost will reprensent France in ice-dance , for me it is a non-sense because nat and Fab are best !
this week-end it was national championships in France and Nat and Fab was second so why Carron/Jost ??? (even i like them i don't understand)
