Eli, not until now ! Wondergirl and I we watched it at the web version of french Orange-TV, but it was without sound . Watching a LP without sound is really strange.

His costume was basically Maxim's 7 deadly sins costume in black....except the color there was not so much difference...

I hope someone was able to make a home video from the competition. Skating without sound is not much fun.

Natasha , that´s the "official" TV version from Orange TV. And Orange TV today simply decided to show every skating event without sound .
For a sound version we can only, as Ivana wrote before, hope and pray for a homemade version from someone who was inside the arena...

My friends were there in Orléans and they told me that Brian skated really really badly, he skated his free program much better during the practice in the morning.

Anyway, i read in an interview he gave to the magazine "l'équipe" that when Albena and Max came two weeks ago, they were finally happy of Brian's work. He told that because the second time they came to see Brian skating the program they made for him they were really disappointed, they did not recognize their choreography. It seems that Brian erased many elements of their choreography. Brian explained this saying that Albena and Max did a program definitely much harder than what he is able to do with jumps. Elements before and after jumps are difficult.

As far as i'm concerned, i think it's ok : Albena and Max might not realize this difficulty for a skater in this category.
In another way, they made a hard program, and so what? Does he want do win a gold medal at the OG. If he skates as he did this week end he can say farewell to his dream of winning a gold medal.

He seems to be late in training....
Anyhow, IMHO, his movements are always rigid like a robot....

I am an addict of Brian's skating. He does not have a girly way to skate but I agree, he should be more flexible.
I know he has a great potential. Imagine a competition chere all skaters skate as well as they can i know Brian would win. That's sure !
I do not like his behaviour but it's another story.

BJ :I watch Plushenko's programs on internet. I hope he'll keep those programs (ironic). There are no transitions and i absoloutely do not trust in his quadruple jump because his triple is without any strength.. I am not scarry to met him in Talinn.
Lambiel? I don't think so...
Takahashi is different because he has another motivation he'll be stronger.

NR: What about other skaters?

BJ: I think Verner is the most dangerous but he is fickle and with a lack of experience. We'll have the answer in Paris.

In another interview, Brian said that one of the reason he lost this competition is his weight. He said he need to lose 3 kilos. He said that it's not to late to win a gold medal in Vancouver. The program is good he needs to work on it. He said there is no reason to worry about time, he'll be ready.

As far as i'm concerned i started to worry, because this scenario reminds me 2006. Brian was terrible this season, and he rejected the fault on the program. I think it's too easy to say that. It's always the program or the coach that's why he changed of choreographers and coaches so many times.

I don't want to do any coclusions, just wait for the 1st grand prix. If he skates bad there or during other more important competitions, I'll be terrified then But now I hope he'll make the right decision

I don't want to make any conclusions or worry from one performance I've seen (without sound ). I've already seen some other top contenders in smaller competitions and I don't think he is worser or better then any of them (technically, I can't judge the rest), especially with a month until his first Grand Prix and 4 months until the most important competition. There is still some time to get things right.

Thank you Wondergirl and Ivana Besides the fall ,i liked the program .It is still the begining of the season and he has time to work and make it better with A&M and his coach's help .As for the costume ,i don't get the big fuss but if he wants he can change it .

I just remembered something I heard during the olympic games and I want to know what you guys think...Considering Brian's devastating results the Romanian commentators said he was a real disappointment, in total opposition with his "super star" requests.They said Brian refused to train elsewhere except Poitiers (which let's say is not so bad) and he also refused to stay in the olympic village during the games so the French federation rented a house only for him which was about 15 minutes from the ice rink

It is well-known that Brian wants to train nowhere but Poitiers. The French federation insisted earlier on Brian to train in Canada or the USA. But he refused. And he planned himself when to train and how much. And his coach now suits to Brian so much because he can't say anything to Brian.
So after the Olympics (if you read any Brian's interviews) he said that he was wrong with this position. So we'll see what happens next
