I'm a "fan". I like him very, very much and I love seeing his routines and new pictures with him. So thank you very much zvet

I don't have much time right now but I will come back here soon and check the photos and read the news.

I hope his new routines will put him back in the quest for gold. (even though I like Stephane as well...huh, it's gonna be tough!!

I'm sorry girls, but we don't have a topic about Alexei Yagudin, and I want to share something - saturday I watch Alexey in a russiand edition of Who wants to be a millionnaire heart2

he was very cute and answered correctly to 10 questions :cheer:

and he lost! For Lera - just for information - the question was In which Cremlin square is situated Tzar-pushka? I suppose it's a very difficult question.

Dans un communiqué, Joubert met également en doute la représentativité du collectif créé par l'ancien champion Philippe Candeloro, médaillé de bronze aux jeux Olympiques de 1994 et 1998, qui souhaite que les athlètes soient représentés et associés à la gestion de la FFSG.

"Ils ne sont qu'une infime poignée représentant le passé (...) et leur objectif semble très éloigné de l'intérêt purement sportif et compétitif des athlètes et des préoccupations des clubs", affirme Brian Joubert.

"J'aurais souhaité que l'on s'intéresse réellement à l'avenir des équipes de France dès les jeux Olympiques de Turin terminés et que l'on envisage immédiatement notre préparation olympique pour Vancouver 2010", ajoute le N.1 français qui n'a pas été soutenu après son échec aux JO et qui a su rebondir Mondiaux de Calgary.

"A ce jour, seules les +petites+ ambitions personnelles des uns et des autres prévalent alors que les sportifs se retrouvent une fois de plus désespérément seuls depuis quatre mois sur la glace", ajoute-t-il.

"Un homme intègre et compétent"

"Les Sports de glace appartiennent avant tout à ceux qui les pratiquent et la Fédération n'appartient à personne! Ceci est une des raisons de ma candidature au Conseil fédéral, dans le collège des athlètes de haut niveau lors de l'assemblée générale élective des 24-25 juin", conclut Joubert.

En guise de profession de foi, il ajoute: "J'aspire à une Fédération unie et libérée des intérêts privés et personnels ainsi que du poids politique de certaines Ligues régionales omnipuissantes et omniprésentes, notamment quant aux choix des sélectionnés internationaux", sans citer nommément lesquelles.

"Je souhaite que les clubs élisent un homme intègre et compétent pour qu'il apporte un soutien franc et déterminé à l'ensemble des sportifs de nos neufs disciplines, et leur donne les moyens de s'entraîner sereinement à partir du 25 juin".

Là encore, le N.1 français se garde de citer des noms. L'AFP a tenté, sans succès, de le joindre par téléphone afin d'obtenir des précisions.

Joubert est conseillé par Didier Gailhaguet. L'un des six candidats à la présidence de la Fédération, Claude Ancelet, président du club de Charleville-Mézières et ancien trésorier de la FFSG à l'époque où M. Gailhaguet en était le président, reprend les idées de ce dernier dans son programme en faveur d'une "école française du patinage artistique".

Le collectif de Candeloro compte lui dans ses rangs un ancien bobeur, Michel-Ange Marie-Calixte, également candidat à la présidence de la FFSG, pour la 3e fois consécutive.

Les autres candidats sont Norbert Tourne, président sortant, Patrice Gauthier, vice-président, Marie-Reine Le Gougne, présidente de la Ligue de l'Est, et Gérard Christaud, ex-bobeur.

I found a video, taken by a girl who went at the French Team tour 2006 (Stars sur glace). It's Brian, who dances with Isabelle Delobel ! I find that Brian is a good dancer !
