Jess et Bryce

So, I've decided to make a thread dedicated to the absolute cutest pairs team in the world, Jessica Dubé and Bryce Davison! They just came out of the Junior level this year, so they are still really young. I completely fell in love with Jess and Bryce, when I saw them at Canadian Nationals in Ottawa, this year! They have amazing chemistry and beautiful programs. Right away, you could tell that they were really special! hehe. Also, they both skate as single skaters. But they recieve much higher marks in pairs.

Jess and Bryce recieved three amazing finishes, this year! 2nd place at Canadian Nats (they should have won the FS! ), 10th at Olympics and 7th at Worlds! I think they are going to start getting fabulous results in a few years. My dream is that they will win Canadian Nationals next year! That would be awesome!

We seem to be getting quite good at this thought reading thing! hehe. That's a bit concerning. Anyhow, there definitly should be a thread dedicated to Jess and Bryce! They are simply the cutest people! hehe. I will try to find my video interview with them (it's in French). You must see it!!! hehe. Bryce trying to speak French is super cute and funny!

Jess and Bryce's "Romeo and Juliet" FS from the 2005 Junior Worlds. I will try to find another version without so many mistakes (). I know I have one on my computer!

It's all settled: now I know i have a faourite couple to cross my fingers for . They are very cute. I noticed them at the Olympics and I was impressed by them a lot but I didn't know very much about them since I don't have the opportunity to see the junior competitions

Thanks Lana for telling the official site....I visited it and read a lot, saw the photos...they are very sweet. I said in another thread that Jess has some special alura..or how to say this better she emanates sensibility and serenity. She is very cute...and yes, Bryce looks amazing too...hmm..you know

I hope they will be on the podium in years to come. They do have potential and talent to be the best. I haven't seen anything but this years programs so I'd be very, very happy if you dear Lana would post some videos - to see more, know them better...

Ohhhm and Bryce doesn't speak french actually? Yes, please, show me that video when you have time, sestrichka! I love when someone speaks french.. and not only french! I'm just crazy about hearing skaters I love speaking foreign languages!!! not russian, but the language I understand like english, french and bg

I had some problems downloading the video the entire day and now, I finally had to chance to watch it.
I'm in a very emotional state this evening...watched a couple of lovely movies this evening and the whole day I was impressed by little things, so imagine what this video made to me.
I didn't cried..but I considered it magical...ssweet harmony annd peacefull. True beauty. I can't explain or tell you exactly the reason.
The sweetest part was when Bryce was holding her from behid and she takes his hands and both lower their arms together..(does it sound familiar?! )
And they are sooooooo synchronized. I couldn't belive what I saw..wow...talking about chemistry and balance. huh...I'm impressed
they look amazingly well together...hope everything will work out for them.

Well, Bryce is not Québecois, if that is what you meant. He can speak French, now. When he first came to live in Québec, he couldn't speak the language at all! But now, Bryce's french is much improved! Yeah, I'll try to find the video! It is super cute!

Yes, it would be just amazing!! I couldn't see Alby & Max's great victory, so I really hope that one day I could see Jess & Bryce and Nath & Fab's ones And I know how much you adore them so we will have another biiiiiiiiiiig report after this event, full of details about Jess and Bryce! I promise!

Yeah... It's really a shame that you couldn't be with me and Chel-C to watch Albenka and Max win. I know it will probably be the only chance I ever to see them skate live and to speak with them. Yousendit really doesn't seem to like me, sestrichka. I'll manage to upload them eventually, though. It just may take longer than originally expected.

Oui, c'est simplement la vérité. We can never have everything! Even if we do want to have it all... It's not possible! It's great that my report makes you feel like you were there, sestrichka!!! Maybe someday we will watch a skating competition together, eh? :<33: hehe. When we are rich... Anyhow... Speaking of singing! I have another Albena and Maxim song for you! It's really insane and doesn't rhyme. even does its writer insists that it does! Would you be interested in hearing it?

The profile photos on the Skate Canada website have been updated. The info on programs isn't up, yet. But probably, no final choices have been made. Or maybe they have and Skate Canada is just being slow at updating us.

Anyhow, the new photo of Jess and Bryce is super cute. If you would like to see it, here it is! Ohhh... I am just dying to see them compete next year!

Ohhh... I think we need a counter thing. Like the one we had last year that counted the days, until SC. We have a bunch of reasons to count the days, until SA! Albena, Maxim, Jess, Bryce... to name a few!

I have bad news

Annoyed by a wound with the right knee which forced it to stop its drive, the artistic skater Jessica Dubé was operated urgently, Tuesday morning, in a hospital of Toronto.
A few years ago, athlete the 18 year old had undergone the same kind of surgical operation, but in the other knee. It acts of a type of wound caused by the premature wear of the cartilages located in the articulation. All indicates that the Olympian one will be kept away of the competition for one one month period in two months. It should know some a little more on this subject as of October 4, when it meets the doctor who operated it.

"It is hard to take, but I like to better do myself to operate immediately to trail this wound longer. My objective, it is to return in force for the Canadian championships ", indicated Jessica Dubé, who obtained her leave of the hospital only a few hours after her operation.

The Canadian championships of figure skating will proceed in January 2007, in Halifax. Meanwhile, Jessica Dubé and her partner Bryce Davison could miss the Great Prices by Skate America (at the end of October) and by Skate Canada (at the beginning of November).
