Help with video

Girls, can you recommend me some soft to cut videos (when I have a longer one and I want to cut a part of it as a different file) and to make snapshots?

Vala,i am not good with those stuff but you can use Windows Movie Maker to divide videos .If it,s a HQ it won't make a difference but decreases the quality a little bit.

Vala, I always use the Virtual Dub If you have it, you can write and I'll tell you how to work with it, It is not so difficult

Welll, I have it - but I don't understand how to use it - so I'll PM you and ask. (I hope I'll need it as I'm going to record the show on Saturday - and I'm going to ask my friend to do it to - just in case something happens with my recorder ^))
