Because we will for sure have a little bit more of these two events, I think it´s better to have it here and not in the "picture" section...

I also was there Vania!! And I met them!!! I cannot post a
report because I am going to Milano.....I shall prepare it

Enrica has posted a fantastic video (home made, 32 MB) in excellent quality (I think better than a TV-version!!) from "Top on Ice" = "Lancia Ice Gala Palavela" (10.10.2008 / Torino) with Albena and Maxim dancing "You´re beautiful".

Unfortunately those videos are not there anymore.Someone posted the videos from Lancia Ice Gala in another forum , from where they,ve been uploaded on youtube.It became a major problem and the original poster removed her videos from fsvids.The videos are not on youtube anymore but the authors privacy should,ve been respected better.Well there is nothing else we can do ,exept to thank Petra and all of our members who have account in fsvids for being correct and respectful.

World champions 2006 and 2007 in Ice Dancing, first in the Grand Prix Final 2007

Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski are a couple of great Bulgarian skaters.
They are not only partners in sport, but also fiancé and this fact makes
even more strong the harmony on the ice.
They were ice dancing national champions for eight consecutive years.
From 2003 on they began to have great performances at European and
World Championships. They place second in Europe and third at World
Championship.
Till 2005 they were training in Sofia and near Moscow with Alexei Gorshkov.
In 2006 they went on training in USA with Natalia Linichuk and Gennadi
Karponosov.
This was an important moment for the couple who won the World Championships in 2006
and reapeted the exploit in 2007, the year in which
they won the Grand Prix Final also.
In October 2006, Albena Denkova appointed President of the Bulgarian Skating Federation."
