There are..in some palces. But news are a bit exagerated. They like to dramatise in order to gain audience. Stupid. There are a few tv channels which are neutral and profesional about this.

You're welcome, Meg! Yes, they participated in two donation campaigns - it was the first one, and the second was for the children of the police
officers and soldiers who were killed doing their duty :cheer:

Oh, it’s very nice! For Bulgaria it’s very important that many people saw our flag at top, have heard our anthem. Many fans of the figure skating are interested to learn more about Bulgaria. The feeling to listen our anthem in a hall with 18000 people in it, was incredible, it was amazing pleasure! Many Japanese study Bulgarian and even send us messages in Bulgarian! (Meeeeg, it’s for you!) For us is more important that we have won the hearts of the Bulgarian people and we are very grateful for that. We have trained in Bulgaria 4 years, there are only 2 ice rinks there and one of them is too small to train normally, but we never complained. We didn’t gave up even in the most hard moments, we fight although the many disappointments. Maybe that’s why we won the gold, because of our perseverance.
Max, what is the feeling to compete against Russian skaters?
I don’t have problems with that. The euros or the Worlds seem like Open championship of ex-USSR, there are many Russians competing for other countries. We all are friends. I’m very grateful to Bulgaria for giving me the chance to compete. I was very happy to hear the Bulgarian anthem and to see the Bulgarian flag.
Our sport is very subjective, we try to accept the fact that we are underestimated. Unluckily we are a small country and we don’t have powerful lobby in ISU, it’s more difficult to protect our interests.
We hope that now the figure skating will become more popular here, there are many children who train and we hope that we won’t be the last champions for Bulgaria.
