Marylin Pla / Yannick Bonheur

I heard last week that Marylin and Yannick slept...Marylin is fed up with skating so she decided to stop.
I think it's a good thing because it was an evidence Marylin was not happy to skate during competition (just saw her face during competition, never a smile : on the ice and off ice)
So for the moment Yannick pratice alone, He is waiting for a new partner.
It's true that Marylin and Yannick didn't have a friend relationship, and They didn't progress anymore so may be it's agood news they slept.
Now the first pair in France is Adeline Canac and Maximin Coïa...They did their first season last season and it was a very nice one !

I had heard something like that some weeks ago, but nothing was sure yet, it was only rumors.

But it's not only a split, Marylin stops skating ? That's too bad... Crying or Very sad

I hope Yannick wil find a new partner, but it will be difficult Suspect

. Jerome Blanchard didn't find a girl good enough, and I think that Yannick's level is higher than Jerome's one.

I hope too that Adeline and Maximin will do a great season ! king

Yannick is looking for a new partner. So I'm pretty sure we won't see them next season.
As I said before, it wil be difficult for Yannick to find a new partner.

I'm a bit disappointed about this split, but as Aline said, Marilyn didn't seem to be really happy. I saw her at the gala of my club, and she was fed up, a bit angry, I'm not sure she was happy to skate for our club gala :sad2:

It wasn't the same at all with Adeline and Maximin who had a lot of fun backstage, with the other skaters and Yannick.

I will miss Marilyn and Yannick, especially their exhibition and their acrobatic lifts :disap:

If it wasn't going anywhere, it's better to split. But as Marina I doubt he will be able to find a good partner unfortunaly Sad

I have read in a French newspaper that Yannick wanted to skate with a Canadian girl (Amélie Lacoste), and she wanted too. Then I read on internet that something happened with the Canadian Fed, that they didn't want her to skate with him...

Well, I'm also curious about what's really happened.. if the girl has no partner and no variants in Canada I don't understand the Federation that doesn't allow her to do what she wants. If the Fed has nothing to suggest, so... Rolling Eyes

That's strange... I didn't even know that she did Pairs. Erm..

She's a singles skater here. And quite a highly ranked one at that. :vo:

Amélie won Junior Nationals in 2005 and finished 5th at the 2006 Nats. zvet

But I think that she was injured last year and didn't compete... *not completely sure*

She's quite a pretty skater and if she was skating with Yannick... I wouldn't be too worried about it!!! Bravo!

Thank you Lana for telling us that ! I guessed she was a single skater, but I wasn't sure.

As for pairing with Yannick, I don't know more (maybe Rosee knows, she always knows more than me about French Fed, and everything. Or Aline... scratch

OK, that's sure now, Yannick has found a new partner ! Her name is Vanessa James, and she's English (born in Canada ! Go Jess & Bryce!

Yay !). They skated together at Courchevel Gala, and I saw them live yesterday, at a gala at my club (which is their club too).

Vanessa seems so nice, she smiles a lot. They are gorgeous together.
I hope they will do great ! cheers

They will skate for France, but I don't know if they will go at Euros. I hope, because Adeline Canac & Maximin Coia won't go.
