I'm ... years old - Аз съм на ... gодини (Az sam na .... godini) - I don't know how to transcribe the letter Ъ it's smth like the pronounciation of U in sun, fun... but not the same Good morning - Добро утро (Dobro utro) also Добър ден (Dobar den) Good evening - Добър вечер (Dobar vecher) Hello - Здравей (Здрасти) - zdravey, zdrasti To be continued....

I'll try to explain, although I'm not so good in computers. What version of Windows you have, Alex? If it's XP, click with the right button on the icon of the languages, choose Options, you'll see a window with the languages you already have, then click on Add layout, another window will appear with two options - first you have to chose the country (Bulgaria, Russia... - you better chose Russia, because there are letters that we don't have on "our" keaboard ) and then select the layouts - Russian. And click the button Add layout - this window will disappear, and click OK (the symbol √- it should work

| Vania, one question: Is it right that "Albena" in Bulgarian is pronounced like something similar to "Awbena" ?? I heard somewhere that in Bulgaria the "l" is sometimes pronounced like a "w". Is this correct?? | |

No, generally it's not pronounced like this - in some regions "L" is pronounced like "U" indeed, but it's just a dialect.

Can someone explain how to use them? Or do I have to rely on my non-existent feel for Bulgarian language? Thank you lots in advance...

Sorry tanuki. The way i translated is still confusing . OK here is an example. Well(ами) , i should,ve put them in a sentence but (ама) i was too lazy to do it. Those two words have their equivalents and we used them mostly when we speak but not so often in writing .For exmple, ама could be replaced by ноI hope now is more clear but maybe Vania could help you and explain more .
