I voted for Russian vodka, a few days ago. Afterall, it is the logical choice. And you are absolutely nuts for creating this thread, sestrichka. But that's why it's so fab! I don't really know if I drink real russian vodka, but once.....

I was in a pub - with specific Russian feeling, decoration, drinks - and I drank a shot of vodka. The bartender said it's russian..but I don't know if it was actually "shipped" from Russia.

And this little glass had a little, little, tiny cucumber (oh, it was so cute..that was the first time I saw such a little cucumber) on a stick. You were supposed to eat it after drinking the vodka. And it was good

As fos sake, I haven't tried it, but I heard that it is really, really good. And I'm very curious about it. After reading "Shogun" I always wanted to try sake. Maybe Meg can help?! :<33:

Italian Grappa ... (I've never drunk it, although I have been many times at lunch or at diner with Italians (because of my job), but they all agreed that the Bulgarian rakia and the vodka are better

Maria, Bea and Serena, what is the "equivalent" of the vodka in Spain and Portugal? I suppose in your countries the wine is much more popular than the other drinks, though

Umm... Foie gras pretty much translates to "Fat Liver". But, I think we just call it "Foie gras", anyways. I've never had it before... So, I'm not completely sure.
