Noooo Tomas!!!!!! Who told you that a black velvet unitard, a bright pink shirt and a big lime green bow was a good idea? I swear I will make him a new costume myself, if he does not get ride of this... this... thing! This photo doesn't look nearly as bad as on TV. It is worse, Lerchik.

Yes, we must send Marina to TEB with a pair of fabric scissors, sestrichka. That way she can cut all of the white things off of Nath's dress. As for Fab's costume... well, Marina should just cut that one to pieces. After they skate the FD, of course. We wouldn't want them to have to withdraw.

Hmm...this reminds me of article I read once...about the costumes of the skaters at the Olympics.

I think they were harsh about Stephane and Maxim however . I liked both of their costumes...

Thanks, Lyra!!! I hadn't read that article. It's entertaining, even though I liked a lot of costumes that they were insulting. Stéphy's zebra/tiger/snowflakes costume was so... Stéph-ish!!! I loved it.

I know!! I loved most of the costumes that they were talking about...yet they didn't even comment on Grushina's FD costume. Now that was tacky ... I did like their OD though...

About the Olympics, I heard that they had even brought someone in from Project Runway (and American show where designers compete for their own line...must say it's a favorite show... Cohen was on it in season 2 :face:) to comment on the costumes ... and i'm interested in hearing what they said about some of the skaters!

After last year, I hoped no one would remind me of that dress ever again. If there ever was a costume that deserved a deduction... it was that one. So incredibly tacky.

You watch Project Runway? Yay! Me too! They show it late in Canada, though. The person has already won, but they are only down to the final four on TV here. I absolutely love this show, though!!! It's fabulous. Unfortunatly, I started watching Season 2 after Sasha's episode... I really like Season 3.

Nah... I think the entire thing needs to be trashed. He's using Toccata and Fuga for his SP, which is such dramatic music. So... the pink just isn't working for me.

It is an amazing show isn't it!! It gets pretty interesting. Who is your favorite? I have season 2 on dvd. You can listen to the podcast from it on bravotv if you want to...it is hilarious though!!
