thax girls for your welcoming you are really sweet ...i am glad i wrote in the corect section and marina i think is great you speak romanian...i wish i could speak russian but i think is so complicated...anyway i am happy i found people to share my passion for figure skating with and i think you girls are so lucky because you were able to see Ice Age on tv...i only saw the programs and the rehersala on youtube but unfortunatelly i didn't understood a word they were saying and sometimes they seemed to have so much fun ...but i have to say i enjoyed the performances very much and i think albena and maxim did a great job with their parteners They are truly the best and i can't even find words to say how sorry and sad i am for maxim's situation...Befor descovering your forum i found the petition and i signed it ...i don't aprove of what Maxim did but i do belive in second chances and i am convinced he is a good man.Unfortunately bad things happen to good people too but i hope with all my heart that Maxim will find the strength to get over this and most importantly i hope he will be able to forgive himself.

thanx to everyone for your welcomings...i am really glad i found you.For the moment i am checking out the pages of the forum so i can get aquainted with your activities and hopefully in the future i can contribute...i have to say you have a very complex forum and i found a lot of news about Albena and Maxim.Like i said before figure skating is not popular in Romania so there are no news about this sport...at all. You want to hear somethig shocking?...ok here it goes...i only found out about Maxim's accident in november of last year(2008)...I was watching the grant prix competitions and i remembered that Albena and Maxim were not sure they would retire after the 2007 world championships so i decided to look on youtube for some new videos and that's where i saw a picture of the crashed Honda and the title of the video 'Albena and Maxim before and after'...i watched the video but i couldn't understand what had happened so i googled Maxim's name and i found like a 100 titles saying Staviski kills man with Hummer...i went numb ...but ever since i kept looking for news on his case

I was glad to know that at least he was not going to jail but that was until the european championships when one of the comentators mentioned the change from a suspended sentence to an effective one in Maxim's case....so AGAIN...and from here on i am going to join you but it look like i have a lot of chaching up to do...Anyway thankx again and i am really sorry for the lack of information but there is nothing i can do about it

I'm in the same condition... I started reading this forum months ago, but I joined it only few weeks ago because I wanted to know something more about my idols Albie & Max. Here in Italy no one know them, maybe only me and piemontesina , but I love them so much since the first time I saw them, at the 2006 olympic games in Torino. Don't worry because of the lack of infos, I can say the same thing, sometimes I'd like to post a picture or a video of them, but I can't, because here in Italy there is nothing about them Internet is fantastic...thanks to it I discovered this fantastic forum...and now I read it everyday, three or four times a day, to know every news, to watch videos, to try and support Maxim in this difficult moment... don't worry brita, we are a family, as other members said, we share the same passion for Albie&Max and even if we don't know anything about them, it's fantastic to stay together and to find a place where you can talk about them in every way!!!

Bya honey your reply almost made me cry....thanx you are a sweet one ....i can see you are from italy and i am surprised to find out that figure skating is not popular there either because itlay has it's fare share of figure skating champions...what about carolina kostner, faiela/scali fusar poli/margalio or the new sensation samuel contesti?aren't they famouse in italy? and 2 more quiestions:did you actually see Albena and Maxim,i mean you were there at the ice rink in 2006? and are you a one tree hill fan(i'm asking because of your user name bya_peyton)

At October 10, for the Ice Gala, the Palavela (Olympic rink) was full!!!
At October 11, in Milan, the same!
And many know Albena and Max and love them...!!

dear piemontesina...do you know where I live? in Lecce...maybe you don't know it (I'm joking obviously.. ) .. but my town is in the very south of Italy...here we have the seaside, a hot climate... but no mountains... no ice rinks (two years ago there was an ice rink in the central square here during xmas holidays...but only for 2 weeks... it was fantastic to skate, I've never tried but I am not too bad ) .... so here where I live we can't understad what means following ice-skating...I have developed a big passion for this sport, but I think I'm a unique case...
... but I can't complain... there are Albena & Maxim that makes me happy... and I know that maybe it's a little bit off topic... but I've just had a car accident, this morning, luckily I'm well, and also the other driver is well...but I'm still afraid, I'm crying because I am scared, and while I was seeing the police that carried my car away (it's broken... ) I was thinking about Maxim and the fact that I'm very lucky. You need a big strenght to stand situation, and Maxim and our dear Albie are showing a big one...

sorry, but I'm not a girl of few words now I'm going to control the cooking of my fish before of creating a fire... definitely today it's not my day....

I'm still so scared, most of all because I caused the accident (I've got my car since 3 months... I'm not so expert... )...I repeat, I'm very lucky, because I'm well and the other driver too, and he was so polite, but I can't stop thinking about Maxim. Now I can understand better, in our lives we make mistakes... for me it goes well, for him it went worse... and I'm sorry for this, because he isn't a killer, and I can understand the sense of guilt inside him. it's the same sense of guilt that I'm feeling watching my broken car... my little car... I hope to recover it soon ...

Good God!!!!!!!! i am so glad you are ok....you need to be careful...i guess you were not speeding since no one was harmed...unforunatelly we cannot say the same about Maxim anyway i love OTH too and Peyton is one of my favourites but i think i'm more of the Hales type hope you get over the shock soon [b]
