My name doesn't leave much room for a nickname...the only problem I have is with the pronunciation...people always pronounce it like "Sar (rhymes with 'hair')-AH" when my mother's intention is to have it said like "SAW-rah"...

But as for diminutives...I think there's just "Sar"....when my sisters were little, they called me "SoSa" (SOfia + SAra)...then they finally figured out how to pronounce Sara...

Ahhhhh yes actually in bulgarian i`m just Mirela, but i`m used to write it with double L cus it`s like that in french and english

I got a nickname today!!

We were practicing a tango for our tests next week and it went REALLY good. We were in good character and skated really good. When we were finished skating, my coach said "You were really good today! I will call you Sassy from now on!"

So now he and my partner are calling me Sassy
