Problems with the forum?

Lana or Lerka, I hope you read this - there is a huuuuuge number of users having a birthday in the next 7 days. Most of them are spambots Maybe we need to "clean" a bit

Girls, one question:

I sometimes have a very strange problem with the "log out" of this forum. When I click at the "log out" button at the top of the site, it changes, as it is normal, to "log in", that means "I´m logged out", but when I look at the bottom of the main page, there where you can find the users that are online, I´m still listed as "logged in" user...
When this happens it´s always very difficult to manage that I´m logged out not only at the top of the site, but at the bottom (at users that are online), too...

In the last six months I´ve had this problem more than 20 times now ..., The last problem with this I´ve had today, nearly 20 minutes ago, and I needed nearly 10 minutes to manage to "log out" completely...

Do you have this too or am I the only one with this problem ...?

Petra, I've never had this problem, but very often I don't look at the bottom of the page if I'm or I'm not logged in.

It doesn't mean anything, I don't believe. The server just takes awhile to recognize the fact that you've logged out. Your name should be removed from the list after a few minutes.

Lana, believe me, I would be glad if my name really would be removed from "users online" automatically after some minutes!
But when the problem with the "log out" button appears, my name is not automatically removed as "user online" from the main page after some minutes! I remember a day in November where I simply could not manage to log out completely, then gave up, and found me as "user online" the next morning, some hours later! Believe me, that was not funny! And every time I have this problem, I can only think "Oh no, not once again!" ...
When I have this problem, till now I only found one method to log out completely: To log in a second time (Yes, this is possible! And surprisingly my name does not appear twice as "user online" on the main page!), to visit every site again I have been at at this forum while I was logged in before the problem appeared, and to log out again ... so long till my name disappears on the main site.

I´m sure it´s not a problem with my PC, because this only happens at this forum here, not at the other forums I am registered at...

Well okay... I am sorry to hear that. I didn't understand your problem when you first explained and wasn't trying to insult you. It's probably just an issue with heavenforum, I would imagine. There really isn't anything more I can say and nothing I can do to help.

So, when you press the log out botton at the top-left corner... does the page refresh and say there that you've logged out?

Yes, exactly! The page refreshes to tell me I´m logged out now, but at the bottom of the main page I´m still listed as "user online"...

But as you said, you can´t help... And you know I have this problem only sometimes... And till now I always managed to log out completely somehow... Therefore, if you find a solution (or explanation) for this, send me a pm, ok? I seem to be the only one with this problem, therefore I think discussing it here further is senseless...

I think that are "spambots" or something like this... Lana, Lerka, maybe you need to "clean" a little bit...

Besides, Piemontesina, not all are "25" ... There are some real users among them... I found "lenkamaus", rashelka, rashelka 1 and 2, rashel, and I know that at least they really exist and are real users! ...

Yes, Petra, they are. Last year we've noticed that there are many users born in the same date and year and most of them have "strange" nicks.

Pfffft. Don't bring me into this. I don't have that type of power.
And Lerka seems to like the spambots, they make the number of users go up. She got rid of quite a few of them... but we kept getting more and more. It's a little tiring to have to delete +150 of them.

Girls, since when do we have these strange advertisements / links for "loans" with links to sides from United Kingdom (UK) on top of the main page? I tried to copy and to print that out to bring it here to show you, but it does not function! Or am I the only one who sees them and something is wrong with my computer? I see this for 3 or 4 days now and my security systems say me my PC is virus free... So ... Do you see this too?
Besides: Since nearly half a year now I see strange advertisements on top of Albie´s and Max´s guest book of their "official" site for something that really should not be there! Am I the only one who sees this?

If I´m not the only one, Lerka / Lana, can you do something against this, or do you want to have this on top of the main page / guest book???

Great ! Then I should check my PC with a fourth security system now , because I made no new installations, all the downloads I made were double checked for virus, the pop-up blocker is active, and my security system forbids advertisements!!!!!! I see the links for this only on these pages. All the other pages I´m visiting are normal!!!
Somehow I (o.k., not I, but my PC ) seem to have a problem with "heavenforum"! First the "log in" and "log out" problem, and now this!!! Really great !!!

Edit: And I just noticed that the thing with the links for "loans" is only visible when I´m not logged in and am reading the forum as a "guest"!! After logging in, I can´t see the strange links any more and everything is normal ... Puhhhhhh !!!!

Petra, Piemontesina, me too - I see these ads only when I'm not logegd on. These ones are new for me, before there where other advertisings, links to sites common with the topic of the forum, for example sports sites, or site about Albena (Bulgarian resort on the Black sea), but I never pay attention to them and have never followed these links.
I'm not sure if Lana or Lerka could repair this I don't think it depends from them...

Vania, there have been other advertisements before??? I never noticed this ...

I'm not sure what you are getting at here!!! Of course, whenever me and Lerka have seen spam messages in the past, we delete them immediately! We don't exactly cherish messages from our dear friends the spambots. (Though Lerka does have a soft spot for them. )
At the moment, both of us are in the middle of our competitive seasons... So, if we can't always be present on the board that's why. You must be patient with us. We are doing the best we can under the circumstances.
