I like them very much. But I wonder if they won't be too old to skate until 2010... Anyway, I'm very happy to see them next year, I hope they will be at TEB, with Albie & Max.

Yes me too, but in this article they say that they're staying. I read the same thing in other articles.

In a way I'm glad! They are nice!

I'm actually quite happy that Marie and Patrice are staying. I thought their OD and FD this year were both gorgeous. I really want to see what they will come up with for next year. Until this year, I had never been much of a fan of theirs. But their FD live... it was so beautiful!!!

Of course, I don't want them to beat Albena and Maxim (if they stay too). Unless it is situation similar to the 2005 NHK, because Marie-France and Patrice were the obvious winners there. I'm all for fair results, like that.

Also, if Marie and Patrice leave there will be a huge gap in Canadian Ice Dancing. The 3rd ranked team, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir are World Junior Champions, but they still have to make the transition in the Senior ranks. So, if Marie-France and Patrice stay than there will be less pressure on them.

Yeah, I saw their FD twice live. I also went to the Canadian Nationals in Ottawa. (The rink is like a 10 minute walk from my house. ) I have to say that I enjoyed Marie-France and Patrice more at Nats. At worlds, I was sitting there praying, "Please don't beat Albena and Maxim. Please don't beat them." I actually found it annoying how wonderfully they skated their FD.

I like these two so much/but not much than albena and max - they are my favourite/ they are elegant and so sweet! THis year's FD was very good and i'm sorry because i can't see it live!

I´m a little bit sad about this decision because I still hoped to see them compete again, but I wish the best for this nice couple!!

I wish them the best too I'm sorry we won't watch them in 2 years in Vancouver, but I don't believe they're capable to win a medal, at least not gold ...
Congrats about their wedding and I hope the next wedding in the figure skating world will be ...... erm, you know who I mean
