Girls, there's a lovely interview with Albie and Max in Bella magazine. It will be very difficult for me to translate it ALL. But I'll try it, for you
If Lerka or the other BG girls could help me if I can't say something in English, I'll tell it in Bulgarian and someone could translate it.

Oh, dear girls, I’m soooooo, soooo sorry! I don’t have Internet at work because we’ll move in another office and the Internet is not paid! They stopped it 10 minutes after my previous message. And now I’m in an Internet club, I wrote this message as doc.file in the office and now I’ll paste it here.
And there’s another problem – I DON’T KNOW WHEN WE’LL HAVE INTERNET AGAIN IN THE NEW OFFICE, MAYBE IT WON’T BE SO SOON.
The third bad news is that I can’t translate the entire interview without Internet (I use sometimes online dictionary for some words). Lerka and the other Bulgarian girls could help me.

Albena: We don’t feel changed after our World title, only we are more tired than before, because we have so many invitations (this interview is from April but it’s published only now). But we’re happy, because we skate from 20 years and the acknowledgement of the people is the biggest prize.
Maxim: I agree. I thought that if we became champions, усещането ще е като да летим. But we feel normally, as always, if we ever have been normal (ако изобщо някога сме били нормални).
Here Max explains about his injury, that he played injured.
Question: How do you feel on the ice?
Albena: I feel so sure in Max’s hands, because if it happens to fall on training, Max lays under me.
Question: This title is for Bulgaria, but there’s more Russian participation in it?
Maxim: For a long time I’m Bulgarian, I compete with a Bulgarian girl. Russia would never give me the chance to compete at big championships. And to win gold for Russia is easy, but to win for Bulgaria – that’s really cool! I’m very proud of it and I love very much the Bulgarian people! (And the Bulgarian people loves you too, dear Max!)
Question: Albena, is that true that you didn’t permit to Max to see you the first days after your operation (in 2000)?
Albena: Yes, because I had so many tubes (тръбички) on me and I was horrified because of him because he wanted to look and touch everywhere, asking: “What’s this handle here?”. But he was very careful and tender (by the way she says that she fell in love with Max right in this period when she saw how careful is he and he were next to her all the time.)
Question: Карате ли се понякога и за какво?
Albena: Спорим предимно за съчетанията, но не се караме. Извън леда – също. Може и да сме имали разногласия, но винаги сме намирали общ език.
Question: How do you relax after the competition?
Max: Albena gets drunk and falls under the bed and I go to the library and I read classical novels. (hahahaha I’m dying… this sweeeeet Max and his great sense of humour …)
Question: What kind of music do you like?
- All the styles, except chalga (it’s something like folk but very very poor quality, the music is based on Turkish or Arabic melodies, with silly lyrics)
Question: Favourite perfume?
Max: Paco, Boss, Versace.
Albena: Joop and another one which name I can’t remember.
Question: Favourite colours?
Max: Once Albena were wearing green for a whole year and she looked like a cucumber.

I’m tired to translate, sorry, the last question is on Bulgarian:
Въпрос: Ще направите ли ваш видеофилм с участията си през годините?
Макс: Много искаме да го направим, но не знам как ще стане, защото телевизиите държат авторските права върху записите. Въпрос на лиценз е и няма да ни стигнат финансите. Но ще проверим.
Албена: А не можем да ги изиграем и запишем тука, защото атмосферата и зарядът в едно реално състезание са много по-различни.

Milichka Vania, this is really bad news.. I hope you'll have internet soon. Don't they know translators need internet?! cause you permanently have to learn new words, things and the fastest way to find some words is internet I hope they'll arrange the new office soon with internet also. And I hope to see messages from you from time to time..Pleasee don't leave us..

Translating the interview was very sweet of you. Thank you very, very, very much. There are very many cute parts in it..i love it. But I have a question though, are there any pictures near the interview?! New ones maybe?!

I'm telling you, they are such great souls...I'm sooo happy they found eachother, I'm happy to discover Mxxim every day, to find out new things about him, to see how they interract...It's lovely. I wish them ETERNAL HAPPINESS (if there is such thing...there must be smth similar at least )

I never knew a thing about this period ...I knew about the accident but not about how they handled it. It must have been so hard But, it's history now... major part, though

well i think chalga must be something like "manele" in Romania. horrible music. "Bands/artists" who sing this, copy elements from turkish, arabic, spanish rythms - sometimes, and they combine them...they put some stupid lyrics about how famous and rich they are, how many womens they have.. It's ..it's terrible!! I can see why they dislike chalga

Question: Will you make a video of your performances over the years?
Max: We really want to make one, but I don't know how to do it, because the television stations hold the rights to the recordings. It's a question of licensing and we don't have that kind of financing. But we're checking on it.
(Okay, Albena really lost me there, something about the atmosphere at an actual competition being really different... from a tape? I don't know, but my Bulgarian is clearly not sophisticated enough yet to follow her train of thought anyway, I have to go to bed )

I'll never leave you Alex! How could I? Yes, you're right - translators need Internet, very much. It's easier to work. But still our computers are not moved in the new office !!! Nothing! I don't know when they'll do it!

There are photos of this magazine, but I can't send them to you till the Internet is not installed everithing os so complicated....
