I read in a magazine that at the time he didn't have his driving licence yet! YES, IT'S TRUE!!! Can you imagine that he actually did not use the car right away??? Or better , he used it, but could not drive it! And yes, Bea...he rushed to get the driving license! Dear Vania, The king usually goes sailing in Mallorca so ..it's natural for Rafa to meet him!  But the king is one of the kindest and nicest person there is...  He makes everybody feel at ease...even Rafa who is sooo young! Usually the royal family like very much to mingle with spanish sportsmen and woman.They usually support spanish athletes everywhere!!! The king's youngest daughter Cristina, met her husband Inaki, in the Olympics in Atlanta , when he was playing handball for the spanish national team...and she was his strongest suporter !!They fell in love and married two years later!  They have four children, three boys and a girl... Everybody in Spain supported the marria ge! The Infanta and the sportsman who won the bronze medal in Atlanta! Sooo romantic! After the marriage,Inaki, who played for Barcelona left handball! This was a little off topic, but I considered this info interesting!

| Well, I am going to mak a resumé of Rafa´s interview Main important points! . He never thought he could achieve so much as he has already, being only tWenty! . He is going to Wimbledon, but he doesn´t expect to win yet! Perhaps in two years he will! All he wants is to get better on grass! . Prefers being with the other tennis spanish players in their lockerroom than to be in the ones reserved to the best 32 players!  . Has rented an apartment or house near Wimbldon. because if it rains , he can go home and rest and wait there! . One of his dreams is to win wimbledon one day! He says he has had this dream since he was a child, because it´s a competition full of history and tradition   and it´s on grass, so it´s a challenge! GOOD LUCK, RAFA!!! | |
