I just saw in the official ISU list that Ina and Juri did not skate their free dance... Why? Is it because of Ina´s old injury at the hip? Or has something other happened (I don´t hope so!)?

No, last night Ina got a renal crisis (if it's the right expression) For the moment, the operation is not necessary, but her mother said that when they came back in Sofia, she will pass a medical analysis. I hope she'll be fine soon!

I didn´t want to add so much "smilies", but Hrisi is right !! It was a judging scandal to me ! Domnina / Shabalin in first place! Never, Never in life !!! Ridiculous! Their movements were seen 100 times before, no innovation ... To me they belong behind Kokhlova / Novitski, or better behind Fede and Massimo! But not in front, not in first place ! That simply can´t be !
The judging in Ice Dancing today reminds me of the old times : Navka / Kostomarov always in front of Albie and Max, the big Russia against the smaller Bulgaria in former times, now Russia against France / Italy! I had a very, very bad feeling while watching this! To me it was like a step backwards in Ice Dancing... And I thought these times were over! But I seemeed to be wrong...

I absolutely agree with you,Petra.I just wanted to say this.Sorry,Domnina and Shabalin's fans,but THIS time it wasn't champions' skating.I was really sorry for Maxim,because it was clearly seen that he doesn't feels very good,and I have hard feelings of their dance.
Everyone says that the new system makes the judging more fair,but from what happened yesturday I don't see that it changed something in comparision with the previous years

OOOOOOOH the results of the free dance.... I really loved Yana and Sergei's dances, they are wonderful, very original with new movements and lifts and steps!!! They do really feel the music. and it was just great they got a standing ovation. (Because I wanted to see their dance I woke up in the middle of the night when it was broadcast here, but it was totally worth it!! ) Oksana and Max were ok, but maybe not very inventive, a bit to "old" and I think them being awarded with the gold medal is a little strange.

Sarah Meier in second place, that's just wonderful!!! She's so elegant. woooow and "our" Dutch girl Karen Venhuizen ended 14th!! Jippie!!!
