Off topic discussion about costumes... Maybe move to another topic?

The american media had lots to say about the costumes



They did go so far as to say somewhere that experts found the costumes distracting, implying that the costumes were bringing down the scores...

Although evidence has been found that the media do talk nonsense a fair amount too (France?)

I know. I've read a few myself. I sometimes agree with them about costumes. But most of the time they overreact.

No ofense, but they have a problem with this part (clothes) in ice-dancing. Yes, costumes are important and they can reflect very well or not at all the music. But this does not mean that you have to pay more than a few thousand dollars..like somebody wrote in an article (for example: " American ice dancer Denis Petukhov said the costume expenses for him and partner/wife Melissa Gregory run as much as $15,000 a year").
I also agree that you do have to make them right and to have the proper qualllity but still...The ice is not a cat-walk.

I can apreciate a costume a lot and despite other (sorry about this but what Barbara and Maurizio wore was hideous) although spending a fortune on costumes is not necessary in almost all the cases.

There are 2 issues here: prices and designs.
It's not true that an expensive costume will be beautiful or viceversa...

different people, different points of view, different fashion - taste...

I agree. It should not be about the costumes.

Well...I liked their CD costumes ve ry much!
They look terrific in greeen and they had a touch of classical ballet in them that suited them perfectly!!

I was offering same videos a few messages ago (where you mentioned the expired links). Only Grace has 2 extra videos: exhibition and an interview (Thanks a lot for those )

I was wondering why Albena does more of the talking in the interviews?

Although I have noticed from some interviews where they both discuss the same issue that she is by far more diplomatic, whereas Maxim speaks his mind without as much regard to politics.

Albena always speaks more in press conferences and things like that, her English is much better than Maxim's (or maybe he is just shy ). Her English is actually very very good. Sometimes Max will ask her something in Russian/Bulgarian and then Albena will answer it to people in Englsh, or explain to him what people have asked or whatever.

Well, in pressconferences in English maybe Albena talks more, but you have to see Max in the interviews in Bulgarian He can't stop talking, I don't believe he's shy at all! He is always very funny and definitly talks more than Albena

I have a surprise to you. I have to thank Yanchetoo from fsvids.forum for this. All the credits goes to him. He posted a montage with Albena and Maxim from Vip Brother from Bulgaria.
At first I thought he is talking about the interview from Veselina but than I realised it was about other show. In this show they were the judges and the others had to prepare some programs in order to be marked.
They laughed a lot and they were soooo beautiful. In my opnion they had a great time. I was impressed to see them laughing so much. They are very beautiful.

Unfortunatelly, yousendit.com is not working I wanted to send it to you and I tried twice but same result: the file is larger than 50 MB... So, I don't know what to do...I'll try some more....

And btw i saw the comercial where Albi and Max take part. Unfortunately, it is not of a very high quality... but there are also Jan Claud Van-Dam.. however his name is spelled.. and Lili Ivanova. They are raising money for the kids whose fathers died because of their work as policemen
